Jericho, as it was, does not need to go any further. What I would like to see is a reboot of the story focussing more on the plot to blow up all the cities
that got bombed, and how the conspiracy came to be and how Hawkins and his other folks try to bring it down. The bomb is now in Texas, so Jericho really is irrelevant to the story now. I would like to see how Hawkins and Jake would be able to expose the plot, and bring those who are guilty to justice, or death. It could be something more along the lines of '24'. They could go back, and tell how the conspiracy started, how Hawkins got involved, and focus more on the action, intrigue, and talk about how Texas fights with the Cheyenne government. The one thing that I haven't pieced together is whether Dallas and Houston were able to survive or not. I don't think they ever named the city that Jake flew to after the two fighter planes from Texas intervened and shot down the Cheyenne planes. Being from Ohio, I have to say that having Columbus spared and identified as a seat of the government was a nice touch. Maybe they could go into that angle a little more also. I like the character of Hawkins, and Lennie plays him really well. I would love to see more of his story. A suggestion for a new title of the show? How about simply 'Hawkins: Covert Ops'? I resisted the impulse to suggest 'Jake and the Black Man'. LOL

Greeting Rangers, Old and New, this is Sandbagger. Well it's been 1 week since the Devils Due Comic has been released, so by now all of you have had ample opportunity to purchase and read the latest installment of our favorite series.
Many of us longtime fans have been asked to review and comment on the new editions, in the hopes that this will stir discussion and continued interest in Jericho. In that regard, I am asking all the rangers who have already read the first installment to add thier comments. This invitation is for ALL Jericho fans, regardless of how long you have been with us. So here's you chance to speak out and support Jericho. Thanks to all of you who have been part of the fight for Jericho

I picked this up from another Jericho Board today! Someone emailed Carol Barbee!
Hi Everyone, I emailed Carol this morning to ask if she could give us any kind of update on how things are going. Below is part of that email (which she told me I could share): "We have a meeting set to pitch it as a movie. There is a meeting coming up about a graphic novel. I've heard through the grapevine that the comcast discussions continue. Fingers crossed. Carol" Just wanted to give everyone a shot in the arm. Keep fighting! When meetings are happening and discussions are taking place, I think it's a good sign that our favorite town and it's residents will have a future. Hang in there! -Rubberpoultry

My husband got me Jericho series for Christmas!. Mind you we have "unplugged" from TV 6 years ago. We only watch DVDs...This series was absolutely AWESOME, the best TV in a long long time...Obviously we can watch TV on the net if we want to. We were at the edge of our seats. I did not like the soap-operish first season dealing too much with relationships instead of the main plot!
Wake up America, this is as good as it gets. Forget comic books (I am 53) please continue with the plot and keep the focus on the small town of Jericho as far as their reaction to a possible civil war and the re-structuring of the country. This is the best made for TV, realistic, Apple pie American story and we need more of that. Regular sitcom programs are an insult to anyone with average intelligence. Reality shows are an exploitation of humanity in its lowest level. American idol is the dumbest waste of time. Why would anyone watch that unless they had absolutely NO LIFE? We need more intelligent shows like Jericho! Please give us MORE.... Gambier, Ohio Organic farmer and healthcare professional boomer couple
