I am a (to be) senior Media Studies major at Emerson College.Not sure what Media Studies is? It's okay no one else does either. Basically, it means I couldn't choose between film and television so with “Media Studies” I am allowed to study both Film & Television!I am currently taking a semester off to work abroad in Edinburgh, Scotland, but one day I hope to work in the industry…really as anything I can. I LOVE IT ALL. I am originally from Vermont and I am the fourth child in a family of five. I grew up without television (you can’t get much cable in the Boonies, all though sometimes on a clear day we could hear Sesame Street), but I have become addicted to shows via DVD releases. I am a machine about it too. I plowed through season one of Jericho in two days – then I bought it. I am a die-hard Sci-Fi fan and haven’t fully gotten over the cancellation of Farscape. To tell the truth I am die-hard for anything with good writing and good actors! I like quality and sometimes a little Cheese (truth be told).

As for Jericho, I think that the first three discs were unbelievable, and the rest of the episodes were a lull (excluding the last two).

I love Jake and his family.

Heather is my favorite (I’m sure that was obvious during my last few posts). She is the optimism – much like Hurley in lost.

Mimi was perfectly developed from a bitch (that annoyed me) to one of my favorite people on the show.

Stanley and Bonnie are wonderful (keep it up).

Dale and Skyler bug the shit out of me. They are not funny. They are selfish, annoying and too much time is wasted on them.

Emily annoys me to, but mainly due to her inconsistency. She never thanks Jake for anything and she’s always moping around. (Writers: give her something to do, she just cries). Emily fans please know that I see her potential, but it is not being utilized.
NOTE: I also like that for once the two girls after the same boy are friends.

Hawkins is a mental rollercoaster! I love it. It is acted wonderfully. I hated him, then I felt bad for him, and now I am always like “Thank god they have Hawkins.”

Darcy is great!

Allyson is the only girl who has done anything. (As you all know I have been quite disappointed by girls in this show)

I loved April and wished she were still on the show. (We need more doctors).

Mary and Eric…not so much…I would’ve liked it better if Eric had chosen April the first time. Mary’s angry. April dies and Mary & Eric’s relationship could have re-grown with us watching it.

Anyways, I could talk about this stuff forever. Feel free to reply – PLEASE NO SPOILERS – even if you disagree I love to hear it all.
