Hello all

I was born, a few years back, in the mountains of northern California, and have always lived in the country or rural communities. In the past I have been a community activist, working with local Neighborhood Watch groups, chambers, and emergency planning groups.

I have been married 30 years to a country boy who also enjoys the simple country lifestyle. I enjoy learning about local herbals, both medicinal and food sources. We have filled our freezer with fruit and meats that we gathered from the surrounding country side, raised pork, beef, chickens, rabbit, and a host of vegetables and fruits.

We have 5 daughters who have all made us proud for their attempts to keep their lives on the straight and narrow. They have given us 13 grandchildren, who for the most part are very much modern, and will, regretfully, probably be urbanites when they grow up.

I started watching Jericho because I have always been interested in nuclear holocausts, and the culture shock that comes with a disaster. After a show or two I fell in love! While I do not agree with all of their scenarios, even the less likely ones have jump started the old noggin, with my own ideas of how things would (or should) happen.
