80. RE: A Story That Needs to be Told

"Another good hiding place might be a thick book - cut out. (leave a few pages at the beginning and at the end uncut). A tampon box? Some excellent ideas, flagtag!! I never thot of a fake outlet or under furniture. Unused radio is excellent. That is something no thief would even look at more than once. You havew to admit tho that the empty can is a quick one to do until a safer place could be arranged. Unfortunately, most houses any more don't have the room for a dropped ceiling. And mobile homes are even worse for low ceilings. Mine is a 1992 model and the cieling is 7 feet at the outside wall and about 11 feet in the center where the two halves go together. There is just no way to drop the ceiling in this place. Now if you would tell me where to hide the guns (I have 3 hand guns and a rifle) I would be more than appreciative. Thanks for the good news about the bank closings. I haven't heard any more either. And I agree that it is getting very tiring the way the gov't is playing games with us. Why can't they just tell the truth for once and be done with it. You have probably heard the axiom that one lie leads to another and then another until the truth beco,es very blurred and can't be distinguished from the lies. I believe that's what has happened to the political machine - they are all so used to telling lies and half-truths that they don't know anymore that they aren't tellng the truth. I'll try to look up that site about the bailout bill. Thanks for that as well. |

"Found the link about the bail-out bill.Flagtag, I couldn't find the article you sent the link to, but when I hit "search" again on google I saw a title about concentration camps here in the USA! I read it and it is frightening. They tell about Haliburton being contracted to build camps for the purpose of "detaining illegals and known terrorists" to be used in the event of another 9/11 attack on our soil. Kellogg, Brown, and Rose were subcontracted to build these camps. Also, post-Katrina, guns were confiscated in New Orleans. And since the repeal of the "Posse ?" law - which maks it illegal for the Army to be used for controlling upheaval after a disaster, it is now legal for the Army to be used for crowd control and anything else the gov't deems necessary. Now that is scary. My God! wha has this country come to? There is also reference to the clergy being instructed to preach "obedience to authority" as described in Romans 13. Seems they borrowed a page from Hitler's handbook. Apparentiy, the camps are already in existance. |

I forgot to mention that there is already a list of 775,000 persons classified as "terror suspects" and the list grows at the rate of 20,000/month. This is dated February, 2008.

As for guns - the wall thing could work for that also. (false wall in a closet) Either use the same paneling or paper over the paneling inside the closet so that it all matches. Yes, the can idea is a great one. I know that there are sites where you can purchase them already made. There is also a site where "picture frames" are sold that you can hide a handgun, ammo, and other things. I'll try to find the site. (I think it was something like 39 or 49 $ for the picture frames. You can put family pictures in it.)

I just tried it and it worked. It will have a video of one of the Reps. talking about the "Marshall Law" threat. I didn't make the connection to the earlier bail-out bill link until after I logged off last night. (DUH!) I saw the FEMA concentration camp sites also. Did you see the one with all the cofins too? (Just how far does this corruption go?) I found the site for the Picture Frame gun safe, go to Sportsmans Guide .com. I want to get a couple of them. They are $39.97 each. The Fed and many State governments have passed laws forbidding gun confiscation since Katrina. (But, who's to say they will obey those laws?!) I wish I had paid more attention to government sooner. And I wish more people would open their eyes now. Not too many things rattle me, but what is going on now certainly does! I'm afraid it is going to get worse also. Have you noticed that the DOW is still in negative numbers? INDU -475.25 and INDP 9845.59 (right now). I dont' know anything about the stock markets, but I do know that they were supposed to go back up after the "bail-out". |

(DUH!)Flagtag, I didn't see any pics last nite in the site I mentioned - just the article about it. Unfortunately, I had deleted it in order to write back to you and when I tried to get into it again couldn't find it. My printer quit, too, so I couldn't print it out. Nutz!! There was a place to send it to friends and if I had had your web addy I could have tried to send it to you. I am of the opinion this corruption goes a lot deeper than we could ever imagine. Is it any wonder Jericho was pulled off the airways? Sounds too much like what is going on right now. When I saw the name "Kellogg, Brown & Root" (KBR for short) I thot about the company responsible for the mess in Jericho and surrounding communities. Is this Life imitating art or the other way around? Quite frankly, I'm getting real nervous and jittery. Who knows what will happen next? Good idea about the false wall in a closet. Now I'll have to think of a way to hide it since I don't have any paper to match the walls. I suppose paint would do the same thing, wouldn't it? I'll look into the frames to hide handguns, etc. Cheap enough for insurance and safekeeping. |

I heard one of those cute feel-good stories once that was about a blanket that a mother or grandmother gave as a wedding present to a girl in the family. The story told of how the giver was very pointed about the blanket keeping her warm and being worth its weight in gold when she was in need. They also reminded her of what a country girl's mother would always say: "A stitch in time saves nine." to make a long cute story short, one day when she was in dire straites she noticed that her beloved blanket had a seam coming loose and found a number of 100 dollar bills tucked safely inside the quilting at various points. It's another idea. Also, the back of a washer or dryer can work well--just remember that you put it there-I once found a bag of weed in a used washer I bought! But NO TV or electronic equipment for obvious reasons. Also, a ceiling fixture could be a possibility. You simply turn off your power for a few minutes, and loosen the fixture from the ceiling. you will find a junction or fixture box underneath it. A couple of screws will take this loose and you should be able to tuck a packet of bills on one side or another. Put every thing back into place and you have your stash hidden away. If you build any of your own furniture you can put a false back on a heavy piece. I will look around and see if I can come up with some other ideas. |

Ok, I checked all of the links I posted and made corrections. (I hope) Try these:http://www.armytimes.com/news/2008/09/army_homeland_090708w/ (Brigade homeland tours start oct.1 - Army News, opinions, editorials) http://www.infowars.net/articles/october2008/031008Sherman.htm (Democratic congressman: Representatives Were Threatened with Martial {law}) http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_XgkeTanCGI (Interview with Naomi Wolf - Give Me Liberty) I hope I got it right this time. I think these are revealing. And if you think about it, you might realize that you have seen/read/heard some of the things that she was talking about. And you might even see a link between all of them. I hope I am just imagining things because this really makes me nervous. |

I just got done watching/listening/reading your links Flagtag. Now, in my mind at least, there's absolutely no doubt that Jericho was cancelled because of what's been going on politically and economically and what is yet to come. They will never let Jericho come back and I doubt if reruns will ever be shown again on SciFi or any other channel. Hang onto your Jericho DVDs - they may be valuable some day. Thanks for keeping us up to speed.

"Ok, I checked all of the links I posted and made corrections. (I hope) Try these:Well, Flagtag, I guess I'm not supposed to read the infowars.net & the youtube.com stuff. I just spent an hour and half looking for them to no avail. I'll take your word for it to as you have no reason to make this stuff up. And if you're getting nervous about what you've been reading, I think I have good reason to be nervous and upset. Prairiems, you are so right. We've seen the last of Jericho. I wonder now what will happen to Skeet and all the rest of the cast. Obviously, they won't be making any more TV shows and I doubt they wil even make any movies now. Especiall if they think a little and put 2 & 2 together. The storyline of Jericho is almost word for word what is happening right now. Only thing we are lacking is the nuke blasts & the army in our towns. Food shortages are already predicted by some newscasters and we all know what has happened to the rest of the economy. Looks like bad times are ahead for all of us unless we prepare now. |

Keep trying the links. I have gotten messages that they not longer existed (the Army one stated that it went AWOL) but when I tried it again, it came up. I agree with the loss of Jericho! And I will hang on for dear life to my DVD's. I doubt that anyone would keep the cast from working - after all "they are just actors" I am SO looking forward to the new year. Hopefully, much of this mess will be over, And the election will be behind us. (Although I am worried about who gets in - I really have no faith in either candidate - but I am an Illinois resident and have seen the damage that Obama can do.) I was desperately hoping that Jericho would be picked up by someone - or at least a movie. I no longer believe that it will happen now. |

"Keep trying the links. I have gotten messages that they not longer existed (the Army one stated that it went AWOL) but when I tried it again, it came up.Flagtag, dear one, you must be a youngster with your statement re: the actors in Jericho getting wok. Don't you remembr the McCarthy hearings. Good grief, even Charleton Heston was called on the carpet for his stand on guns. These days, we look at him as some kind of savior (tho deceased) because of his stand at one of the NRA Conventions where he said, while holding his rifle aloft, "From my cold dead hands!!!" (in response to the call to disarm all gunowners by a certain group of radicals). Other actors were investigated because of something they said at a party. Still others were questioned at length because of a part they played in a movie. If the word is passed to blackball the actors, it will be done. Our president and his staff have more power than it is comfortable for them to have. To say nothing of Congress - both House of Reps & the Senate. The more I read and listen to, the less confident I am in our leaders. BTW, I just got an email about the Naomi Wolf thing. Got to listen to the second prt and when I went to click on the other part, lost the whole thing. I know I didn't delete it. Now I'm getting paranoid about using the computer. The gov't has the technology to listen in to anything in your house anymore. They can monitor your phone calls as well as your usage of the computer. We are no longer free. And you're right - what litle I got to hear of Naomi Wolf makes me real nervous, tho I noticed she was speaking in a jerky manor and sometimes her words didn't match the movement ovf her mouth.. |
