Opening Morse Code Translation:
There is a fire

Synopsis: The people of Jericho receive a recorded phone call from Homeland Security telling them that help is on the way. The townspeople start to think that life might be returning to normal when the power and phones return. Their hopes are dashed, however, when power surges cause electrical lines to go down and fires to break out all over town. While Jake and Hawkins work together to fight the fires, they discover that neither one of them is who he claims to be. Meanwhile, still desperate for information, the townspeople vigilantly watch the satellite television in Bailey's with the hope that another signal will come through.

Episode recap:
As electrical fires break out all over town, citizens start to panic. At the library, Emily is hit by a falling power line and receives a strong electrical shock which leaves her unconscious. The same electrical surge starts a fire at the library and Heather realizes that one of her students is still inside the building. Heather courageously goes in to save her and Eric dashes in after her to help. Due to the power being out, the water pumping station shuts down so Jake and Stanley have to open the manual release valve to allow the water reach firefighters. Later, Jake and Hawkins try to find a way to fight the fire on Eric's house, and eventually get the hoses working, but the house can not be saved. The fire at the library is eventually put out.

Calm Grief
During this episode, Skylar brings her cell phone to Dale and asks him if he can charge it. He says sure. Later Skylar returns. Dale looked somehow different, quieter than usual, if that was possible.

Skylar was too excited to notice. "Did my parents...?"

Dale shook his head. "Sorry. Oh, but, it's charged up." He handed her the phone.

"Thanks." There was an awkward silence. "Are you going home now?" Skylar asked. Dale turned away.

"Are you gonna stay here all night?" she asked.

"I don't have anywhere else to go," he answered in a low voice. Skylar looked confused. "Fire moved through trailer park," Dale explained. "It's all gone."

Skylar was speechless. As if Dale didn't already have enough to cope with, now he had no home? "Dale...I am so sorry."

That was about the hundredth time he'd heard that since the bombs went off. "It's okay," Dale said.

"No! It's not!" exclaims Skylar, shocked. "Why are you being so calm about it?!"

"I don't have much of a choice." He looks sad, but unemotional as usual.

"Scream!" Skylar suggests heatedly. "Cry! Hit something! Break something!" She starts to storm out of the building. She was still incredulous that such horrible things could happen to kids...

Dale suddenly brings his head up. "Where are you going?" He didn't want her go so soon.

"We'll start with the Mayor!" Skylar said. "We'll get him to get you a place to live, some food, some clothes... "

"I can take care of myself," Dale objected, though softy, as usual. "I'll be okay." He appreciated her sympathy.

Skylar calmed down. "I was only trying to help," she whispered. But maybe she had made him feel worse.

"I know," said Dale. His eyes said the rest.

Hey, the recap says that Jake and Hawkins "eventually get the hoses working". Am I remembering the episode wrong, or does a certain other person help too, by providing leverage to get the water pump running? It was Stanley! Half the town would have burned if not for him!
