Nice handy-cam work CBS! You want millions of viewers for something that went from professional production quality to pure Canadian super-low-budget tripe? Most soap operas have a better film quality than what you are dumping on us in these 7 episode limited run of season 2. This is what we are supposed to be convincing our friends to watch?!?
The story in episode one was jumpy as heck, incomprehensible in parts, and was grossly conspicuous in the fact that they did not really talk about all the missing cast members (that did not die), like the children! It seems to me to be a pathetic attempt by CBS to have a 'legitimate' excuse for canceling it. The next two episodes will either make or break the entire Season One storyline. I would bet heavily on break, but I hold out hope for make. Did anyone also notice that there seems to be an increase in the ratio of commercial time to story time? I will be downloading a version of to see if this is just me or if they did stuff extra commercial time into it to pad their profit margins even farther. I will post a follow-up on this later. Bottom Line - If CBS cancels Jericho given the absolute shoe-string budget and large profit margins that they are now making on it, they are going to lose at least one permanent viewer. Just like HBO with their lies about the Deadwood movies to complete that canceled story. I can get their content for free off the web without them earning a solitary advertising dollar. If we allow this to happen then the whole Nuts for Jericho was for nothing, so don't let them keep their viewer number from the Season One days. That was for excellent quality at the costs it necessarily comes with. With the cheap-o version, they can't say they need any more viewers at all! P.S. I am Canadian.

NUTS is what I have to say about the season opener. It was a dissappointment to say the least. We waited and pushed for a great show to come back and it came back weak. Hawkins now trust people his wife now trusts him mrs green is no where to be found aghhh so much disappointment I almost changed the channel it didn't leave me on the edge of my seat to watch the next eposide I hope it picks up in the next one however they pretty much ended it tuesday. they could stop Jericho and it would have an ok finish the town is being rebuit government is established cars work people aare getting married life is back to normal. So now we know that if the world is destoryed by nukes it will take 6 months a few raids 1 major battle and then life will be normal again lol I hope it gets better

Obvious that the newscast was propaganda...not only does it build up the ASA President(Senator Tomachino ?) but the newscrawler says "HHS secretary says Hudson River virus held east of the Mississippi". Sounds like the ASA push is on to make the east seem more dangerous, perhaps it is who knows?

I am usually a conspiracy theorist. I will admit that, but everything seemed to fit together all too well in the season opener, which means they are preparing us for something! For one thing, I still don't trust Hawkins as far as I can throw him. Sure, having the nuclear bomb gives him EVIDENCE, but it also puts a huge target on his back. "Chavez", who was just introduced last night, may have an alterior motive of his own. I think someone got to him and he is trying to locate the bomb with the help of Hawkins. I am excited to see how everything plays out. Anyone else?

I loved the episode last night. I'm wondering if anyone else noticed the flag ... the stripes were vertical rather than horizontal. At least that's the way I saw it ... I'm Canadian by the way. Anyone else notice the stripes?

Absolutely loved the epsidoe! And so many answers have been revealed. If North Korea and Iran were blown up, that could explain about those missiles and tanks that Jericho saw. Also, we know how Heather escaped from New Bern: the deputy that was supposed to kill her let her go. Also, I finally know why Stanley is in debt. He signed a contract without understanding its full meaning.
The parts with Mimi and Stanley were great as ever! Good to have old Stanley back!

Right off the bat Maj. Beck identifies himself as 10th Mountain Division....HUH?
10 Mountain is Ft. Drum N.Y. (Watertown). Seeing it is located in northern N.Y., understandable Drum would possibly be in pretty fair shape after the attacks, but why would 10 Mountain be deployed for reconstruction of the ASA? If there is still a fragmented DC gov't operating in the east, does this imply ASA has control of all the military?,writer error or sentiment? C'mon vets! Let's see some constructive feedback on this!

Did anyone else notice that Pamela Reed is listed as a member of the cast on the CBS website for Jericho. This may mean that she will still be on the show.
If we get enough viewership there may be others that will return as well. I intend to continue to support Jericho |

This is a great way for the series to go. I had no idea which direction this would turn. This scenario makes sense. It should offer much more material. I imagine that this will reveal much more corruption that even Hawkins will be surprized by. The characters have their own personalities. We know about what to expect of them.. I hope to see the intensity of the drama escalate. Love this show. Lets hope CBS has the decency to keep it going.

In all honesty I was a little disapointed in the plot. I was hoping it would be revealed that the attack was caused by outside forces ie...al quida... but once again it is a standard our own government is evil deal and not only that by vastly over doing the number of cities they'd need to nuke in order to fragment the country. I like the bas story line about what is happening in Jericho after an event but much of the event doesn't make sense and seems to be doing a politically correct dance.

I really loved the first season and turned alot of people onto this show. However, the first show of the 2nd season was very disappointing. While the actors were great in the brief minutes allowed to them, the entire show seemed off. It moved too quickly from scene to scene and was jerky Also CBS didn't develope the characters like in the first season. I realize this season is only 6-7 shows and the storyline must move quickly, but give me a break. CBS has taken a great show and ruined it. however, I will continue to watch it and hope that the quality improves

My family & I enjoyed it. Of course, we wished they could of brought the old man back to life, but this is supposed to be "real life" not magic so we understand. The acting was good, you could see the conflict that Jake was going through wanting to kill Constantine with his bare hands. Don't blame him either. That is one man that does need to die..looking forward to that episode. All in all we are very happy with the show..thanks for bringing it back...Sandisan

I loved the eating of the peanuts in the hospital.. It's a great way of dedicating the season to those who helped bring back Jericho.. I wish they could somehow bring the peanuts to all of the episodes this season..
