Meet the actress: Darby Stanchfield

Background:
April Green was a doctor at Jericho's clinic, which seems to be the closest thing to a hospital in town. Not only does she seem to be the only doctor on staff, she apparently goes out with the ambulance on emergency calls.

What We Know:
Before the bombs, April had divorce papers drawn up. She seems to have changed her mind after the bombings, particularly in light of the fact that she finds out she is pregnant. They had been married for six years.

She and Eric lost their house to a fire in Ep 1.5 Federal Response

April dies during a pregnancy related complication (Ep. 1.16 Winter's End)

What we don't know:
Has she always lived in Jericho, or did she and Eric meet someplace else? Does she have any other family members in town?

Daughter-in-law to Johnston and Gail Green
Expecting a child at the time of her death (apparently would have been named Tracy)
Eric left her to be with Mary Bailey, the town bar owner
