Click EasyEdit to help build the ultimate character bio for her.Meet the actress: Shoshannah Stern
What we know: She's deaf, but reads lips and signs American Sign Language (ASL). She doesn't like Mimi Clark, who is her brother Stanley's IRS agent-turned-love interest, at first and clearly disapproves of Stanley sleeping with her. She went into town and picked up Sean (probably to spite Stanley) after catching Mimi and Stanley together. She is quiet, but seems to observe a lot of what is going on. Before the bombs went off, she obviously had some friends in town because she was texting on her Sidekick, but it has never been revealed who Bonnie's friends are.
Her bio reads: "Bonnie Richmond's parents died in a car accident that left her hearing impaired. Her only family and connection to the world is her brother, Stanley. After the attacks, Bonnie must help Stanley feed Jericho without letting him know that she's "actually the brains behind the operation." That quote, and Bonnie's comment to Stanley that she has been running the farm, means that she does a lot of the housework. Stanley is so frivolous with his money that Bonnie may also mean she is the one doing the budgeting.
Bonnie obviously had a strong dislike for Mimi at the start. This is because she feels that the Mimi is taking up all her brother's time. Basically, she's jealous. Another factor, however, is that Mimi wants to shut down the Richmond farm, and that really makes Bonnie upset. She gradually has become more tolerant of Mimi, who is trying to integrate into the family, as shown when she convinces Stanley not to throw Sean out.
What we don't know: Where her character is heading and who she will be paired with as most of the eligible men are being snapped up, killed or driven off.
Her role in the town: She says in Episode 11 that she is the one who has kept the farm running, though for reasons unknown. She tries to keep the peace between the younger people in town, specifically Dale and Sean, who she is now hooking up with. Bonnie often seems rude to others, but it is most likely just presumed to be so due to her being hearing impaired, which can make her seem standoffish or stuck up.
Parents: Killed in accident that left her hearing impaired when quite young.
Jake Green and she seem to have a bit of a brother-sister vibe going on, probably stemming from his close friendship with Stanley.
Dale Turner also seems to have a special connection to Bonnie, she seems almost big sister protective of him, and goes out of her way to make him laugh when he is being harassed by Skylar Stevens and her friends
Sean Henthorn stayed over at the Richmond ranch while Stanley was in New Bern as Bonnie's companion
- What happened that night she picked up Sean and drove off with him in the pickup??? Don't leave us hanging!
- The brains behind what operation, the farm or the attacks? The farm produce stand, probably. Someone has to bake the pies and can the fruit. They probably pick up a lot of cash from that operation. It was busy when Jake showed up in the pilot episode.
- Has been volunteering at the Medical Center since she was 16

Bonnie can speak, can't she?Oh, and why do people think they meant the brains behind the bombings? It's obvious they mean the farm stuff.Even if she was behind the bombs(which she isn't!) They wouldn't give away that information!

It's easy to tell that whoever is writing certain parts of this character page doesn't like Stanley. Maybe YOU hate Stanley, but Bonnie's not!!! She's his sister, she gets frsutated wit him, but her grudge only really lasts through "Vox Populi". Why is everybody making Bonnie sound perfect and snubbing Stanley?
And no, Mimi and Stanley only had an incident ONE time. Since then all they've been doing is kissing and maybe sharing some tango marguarita. Ha!

Why is everyone being so ####### Sean? Sure he's a jerk, but if he truly befriends Bonnie, maybe she can teach him a thing or two. Sean is misguided. I think his being with Bonnie will imrpove his character.
On the other hand, with all the crazy things the producers are doing lately, Sean will probably prove to be the death of Bonnie. Especially since Stanley is gone for right now. If anything happens to Bonnie because of Sean, Stanley's gonna really give Sean something to remember!!!
