Bio:
Erin Daniels (Erin Cohen) was born and raised in St. Louis, Missouri. Her father was an architect and her mother was a clinical social worker. She grew up in an actively Jewish family (her mother co-founded the Central Reform Congregation in St. Louis and her grandmother received an award from the National Conference of Christians and Jews) and attended Clayton High School. Ever since Erin was a small girl she harbored dreams of becoming an actress, though her architect father always hoped she'd follow in his footsteps.




After graduating from Clayton High School, Erin enrolled in the prestigious New York-based Vassar College, where she studied art history and architecture. Although she eventually graduated with a degree in those two subjects, it was at Vassar that Erin first began to explore the possibility of pursuing acting as a career.









Career Bio:
After she graduated from Vassar College with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Art History and Architecture, she moved to New York City to pursue a career in entertainment.At the age of 22 she changed her surname from Cohen to Daniels. Already having had a taste of performing thanks to her time at Vassar (she took as many courses in theater as she could without declaring a double major), Erin knew that she would have to start out small. As such, she began accepting roles in tiny off-Broadway plays and worked diligently at honing her skills as a multi-faceted performer, including, "Stars". Eventually Erin began landing guest-star roles in NY based shows such as "Law & Order" and "Dellaventura". Soon after she moved to Los Angeles and booked a recurring role on the controversial comedy, "Action", which was followed by more guest starring roles on popular series such as "The Outer Limits", "Philly", and "Jack & Jill". Erin Daniels' career has been slowly moving upward since she first hit the scene in 1996. Her diligence and hard work finally paid off in 2004, when she was added to the large L Word cast.


In addition to her television work, Daniels has also appeared in the films "House of 1,000 Corpses" and "One Hour Photo".




Awards:Erin won the 2002 Emerging Actor Award at the St. Louis International Film Festival .
