| Perhaps a lesson this show could teach us is to clean out the Cold War fallout shelters that exist around the country. Although the Cold War is over, it might be necessary for us to maintain shelters as a precaution since the nuclear threat is still very real. Shouldn't we have a civil defense plan in place in our communities just in case they become the next "Jericho"? Obviously we cannot depend on FEMA alone for our survival. | |

If my city was nuked, I'd pull a Hawkins and have a big stash of weapons, supplies in my basement, own a faraday to keep out EMP blasts. Would be nice being a rich person and build more basement levels under your house, like a fortress with more rooms.

If staying in a fallout shelter helped me survive to find that everyone and everything I ever loved or cared about was gone, I would rather just go in the blast! Madd Maxx may not be real, but you can bet, just as on Jerico, there would be looting, shooting, rapes and murder by some of those left behind. NO THANKS!!!!
