My comment is for the ''what we dont now about''.As we all know Jericho is a small town and since small towns don't have very many kids they would combine the schools together.So that is probaly the main why who they know each other, and why she came to Jericho is probaly because of the teaching job.

Since we're eventually gonna see some season two, I wonder what the newest twist for old heather will be? How in the world did she get out of New Bern alive, and then survive that car accident? Did anyone else notice that all the other people who were dead from the car crash were all female? And now that Heather is heading to Jericho with the army, how she respond to seeing Jake? I hope there's a future for Jake and Heather!

I didn't notice that they were all female, this could be some back info, like Heather helps the captive women to escape and they are making a run for it when some ruffians run them off of the road....etc. Great eye!

I was just looking at TV.com and sprague is listed as a star cast member of the final episode of the season, Why We Fight. Go look for yourselves. The casus belli morse code "one got away" also suggests that heather is alive. we'll see what happens in a couple weeks now won't we?

Heather Rocks way better than the blond. Is she dead? No! No! Way to cute to die so soon. What is wrong with Jake. Emily? Been there done that and got the smelly fingers to prove it. Heather way hotter and will Jake ever get over Emily (if he marries her) swinging from some other dudes vine. No Heather is clean no history she's hot and nice. Forget Emily they are ex's for a reason. Wake up Jake find Heather.

Jake and Emily are perfect together because they have chemistry, but Jake and Heather - no way. When Heather kissed Jake, Jake was totally not into it. Besides, Heathers character bothers me. SHe freaks out at everything - she needs to calm down. Another reason she bothers me is how she rubs the information in others faces. She always is bossing people around - don't do this, don't do that, you've got to do it my way. Hello, your way isn't always right! It always makes me laugh when she's wrong. She seems so posative she's right that its funny when she's wrong. Everyone thinks Heather is way smarted that Emily, but they are both school teachers, they would have the same education. I was so glad when the last couple of episodes didn't have Heather in it.

I think if it was purely based on who should be with Jake then it would come down to chemistry and the truth of the matter is romantically based on what weve seen thus far is Emily had Jake have way more chemistry between one another, no matter howlong it takes they will end up together.. as television programmes do they will draw it out for ever and a day but thats what will eventually happen

The fact is that this character was the funiest and easiest character to like of the entire cast. Everyone seems to be hiding something, but Heather made life better with only water and fertilizer. Emily is a great character, but she and Jake are in the past. I know that Jake and Heather make a much more interesting couple. CBS writers seemed to have made it very clear. Heather has disappeared, Emily's fiance has been thrown out of town. I will stop watching this show if Heather isn't found alive!!!!!!

HEATHER IS COOL!!!
WE WANT HEATHER!!!
Besides Stanley, Dale, Roger, and Jake, Heather is the best character! She's way better than Emily, Eric, Mary, Jonah, Maggie, Skylar, Gray---pretty much everyone. SHE ROCKS!!!
She had better come back from New Bern in one piece!!! Otherwise I hope Jake tracks down Russel and Ted and those other jerks and kills them all!!! (Okay, thart's over-reaching.)

I find it rather amusing that the previous page on this site entitled "Disappearance of Heather" has, itself, apparently disappeared.
Not to worry; I'm sure Heather will be back in the second half of the season, and I hope she gets in Emily's way with Jake...big time!

Heather hasn't been seen lately because she has been just outside Jericho keeping tabs on Hawkins. That was her assignment after he went off the reservation and moved his family to Jericho. They are worried about what his plans are for the contents of the drum. Especially after it is clear that he has been lying to them.
Hawkins had infiltrated a Jihad terrorist group years before Heather and Jake joined the agency. The group was developing nukes and planning an attack on the West. He was supposed to have blown up a targeted city. When Hawkins tried to warn the government about the impending doom, he discovered that the agency had been infiltrated by the terrorist group as well as other agencies. When it was apparent to him that he couldn’t stop the attack, he panicked and moved his family to safety.
The agency now splintered, is in a struggle to prevent more attacks and regain control of itself from the terror group.
Heather’s interest in Jake is far from new. They go a ways back. They worked undercover together before in Iraq and in South America.

I love Heather, she is a better match for Jake. Emily is attracted to Jake and has a past with him, but she doesn't have the trust in Jake that Heather does. It will all come down to who to trust.
