...Oops. The ASA lackey is a Major not a General. However, "lackey" may mean he's in on the attacks or - probably the case - a pawn for now who may be later called upon to help set things right...

...They may or may not have missed Ft. Lewis near Seattle, Ft. Drum (NY), Ft. Brag (NC), Ft. Riley (Under ASA control). These regions appear to have strategic ground forces. Poor CA (lost San Diego) and, possibly, WA (if they lost Ft. Riley) will have to sue for peace with the ASA.
Does anyone know if any Eastern USA friendly aircraft carriers have aircraft nukes that might be able to take out hardened ICBM silos in the heartland? Maybe foreign powers are ready with EMPs to prevent further ASA ICBM launches... |

The ASA Military Commander currently overseeing "Jericho Territory" may be an unwitting pawn in the ASA President's bid for power. This would lead to a potential "Boramir-like" self-sacrifice, perhaps with the Commander aiding Jericho "Freedom-Fighters" against the tyrant who unleashed the desruction on the country as events in later episodes head towards a climax.

As a p.s., the launched minutemans / emp attack is just a sub-plot. Any group could launch minutemans for any reason. Any foreign power or foreign-power coalitions would hit the u.s. with an emp just to prevent more american crazies from launching icbms. It actually was very nice for the foreign powers to only use emps in us. In "Crimson Tide," we were considering nuking a part of Russia...
