Jericho Restoration Mission Update

Jericho:

In order to complete this mission, we need to say visible and show that there is still an audience for the show. We are doing that and we are still on the path to a greenlight!

I understand that it is difficult to have patience, since we have been waiting a long time. When I get tired of waiting, I think about the advice I got from a lawyer during a negotiation. When I asked if we could make this deal, he would ask "Are we still dancing?". (Dancing refers to the back and forth between two sides when negotiations are in play.) I would answer yes, and then the lawyer looked me straight in the eye and said then a deal is still possible.

When there is no chance of getting a show back, then the executive producers let the fans know. That is what happened with the Men of a Certain Age: <<

That has not happened with Jericho. Jericho and it's producers are still dancing and that should give us hope. Now, all we need is a glimpse at Jericho's dance card! : )
Keep up the good work Rangers,
Gwen

Future Traditions Needs You!
We are looking for new co-hosts for Future Traditions, the Jericho podcast. Due to time constraints, Heidi and Suzanne have stepped down as co-hosts, and Larissa can't do it alone!
Each podcast episode that has been released previously has been recorded using Skype (an Internet calling service that is free for Skype-to-Skype calling), USB mics (which can be found at places like Radio Shack), and recording software called Audacity. Both Skype and Audacity are free to download, and are (relatively) easy to use. This does require access to a high speed Internet connection, however.
Aside from this, we are really looking for Jericho fans who are enthusiastic about talking Jericho in a podcast roundtable at least once a month. Past areas of discussion have been the episodes of the television show, the Season 3 comics, and discussion of Jericho cast in other projects before Jericho, as well as other post-apocalyptic properties.
Without you, Future Traditions will (probably) not continue, so if you have any interest or questions, please feel free to email
jerichopodcast@gmail.com.
Thank you, and Semper Fi, Rangers,

Larissa, Host/Producer, Future Traditions
[I'd like to add that Larissa is fun to work with and that Future Traditions is important to keeping fans interested in Jericho. Please volunteer to help Larissa continue to bring us Future Traditions. Gwen]

In-Person Events
ECRG 2011 - September 9-11, 2011
The East Coast Ranger Gathering (ECRG) is slated for September 9-11, 2011 in Baltimore, MD. This will be the third annual gathering of Rangers and the 2nd time in Baltimore.

The ECRG is just that, a gathering of Jericho Fans who are getting together, for a social event, to talk about Jericho, the comic and speculate about the eventual release of the feature film. It is not a convention or con and has never been intended for that purpose. We will not be looking for active participation from anyone who worked on the series. In time, the event may grow into something other than a social event but for now it is meant to be purely an event where people can meet, explore the location and have a good time.
