Withdraw the water and it appears to die, but the plant doesn't really die it goes into a dormant state. Just like the TV show, the plant lives after death. Our new mission is to keep Jericho in our hearts and on the correct path, until it receives the life giving greenlight (Jericho's water). The tasks involved are simple ones that any Jericho fan can do; we simply give our beloved Jericho small nudges in the right direction. These small nudges, by all the Jericho fans, add up to one giant push on the path to that needed greenlight. Dan Shotz has let us know that the graphic novel is act one of a much larger story. We know the sales of the graphic novel are being watched, so we need to try to increase sales. The Ranger Duty Roster consists of four simple steps: 1. Purchasing a copy of the Jericho graphic novel. Amazon has a very reasonable cost of $13.59. Direct link to Amazon: www.savingjericho.com/s3/ Note: This is not an affiliate link. I just needed a link that could be easily remembered. 2. Write a review of the graphic novel. Word-of-mouth is the best form of advertising, so each review is advertising the novel for us. You can write reviews at these sites: Amazon www.savingjericho.com/s3/ (Scroll down to the customer reviews and use the button on the right to create your own review, make sure to preview and then publish your review)TFAW <<http://www.tfaw.com/Profile/Jericho-TPB-Season-3___383155>> 3. Let IDW know you like the novel and want more of the Jericho story. E-mail: letters@idwpublishing.com 4. Continue to spread the word about the graphic novel. Ideas of how to do this can be found at <<http://www.savingjericho.com>> (on the Save Jericho Effort page). Like the Rose of Jericho <<http://www.dailymotion.com/video/x7va4l_selaginella-lepidophylla_lifestyle >> Jericho will not die as long as we keep it alive in our hearts and on the path to a green light! After hearing the comments at Comic Con, I am convinced there is a green light waiting for Jericho. Let's do it Rangers, Gwen (ratkeeper) _________________________________________________________ Jericho S-3 Civil War Graphic Novel The graphic novel (all six comics in book form) is now available. It can be ordered from Amazon: www.savingjericho.com/s3/ Amazon price - $13.59 The graphic novel is the money maker for IDW, so I urge everyone to buy the graphic novel (even if you have all the comics). Let's send the sales through the roof and get more of the Jericho story! _________________________________________________________ Jericho Photo Section Jericho signers at Comic Con 2011. This will be the third annual gathering of Rangers and the 2nd time in Baltimore. The ECRG is just that, a gathering of Jericho Fans who are getting together, for a social event, to talk about Jericho, the comic and speculate about the eventual release of the feature film. It is not a convention or con and has never been intended for that purpose. We will not be looking for active participation from anyone who worked on the series. In time, the event may grow into something other than a social event but for now it is meant to be purely an event where people can meet, explore the location and have a good time. While some shows may have low ratings, producers seem to forget the long life of these programs, fans, and lingering DVD and Blu-ray sales. It provides perpetual revenue for years to come.
Case in point, I never saw "Jericho" when it aired, I was told about it by a friend. I'm now watching the entire series again, for the third time.
It is shows like this, is why "Falling Skies" on TNT is such a success. Network execs seem stunned, go figure.
There was at one time, talk of a follow up movie on "Jericho", on again-off again, any update on this?

2  out of 2 found this valuable. Do you?
