If a station is not interested in bringing back our beloved "Jericho" for a 3rd season,
how about a 7-10 part mini-series? They could wrap up Jericho, and for the most part, satisfy all of the Jericho fans! There are so many questions to be answered! 1. If Jericho fights Cheyenne, will this be the beginning of the "Civil War" they spoke of on the last of the 2nd season? 2. What cities/states will be involved? 3. Will there be any more nuclear attacks? 4. What will the Air Force Base in Tx do w/the nuclear bomb they got from Jake and Hawkins? 5. Will the bad guys succeed in stealing the nuclear bomb, and/or making more? We all know they'll try. 6. Who will win? 7. Will the "Allied States" once again become "The United States"? We need a season 3, or we need a 7-10 part mini-series to answer all of these and many more questions! Osslady

Has anybody heard anything about how the first show of the second season did ratings-wise? Is there any chance that Jericho will be returning for a full 3rd season? Maybe there's somebody out there that washes the car of the president of CBS and might have overheard something. Any info?

I have to agree that Jericho does rock. I just bought the DVD, and I'm inlove with jericho all over again. I also haven't stop campaigning for Jericho, it has to continue as one of the best show's ever. with awesome actors, I just wish they'd bring Johnstonback but that's ok we still have a super show. So Rock On Jericho.

hi,
ive been a long time reader, first time poster and i am finally posting becuase my thoughts are finally something to do with the topics at hand. heh so here goes. my name is moe and im a jericho fan all the way from Australia. Every time our local station put Jericho on, i would drive over to my friends place and watch the show with his father. now there are few reasons why an australian would like such an egocentric show (which isnt a jybe its a show about americas fate so it didnt grab as many aus. viewers as it shouldve which is shameful on our behalf. :)) and here they are: 1. the dynamic and pace of the show. Jericho didnt treat its audiences like buffoons. another example of this dynamic and pace is Heroes (season 1 in particular) the action comes thick and fast and season 1 left me reeling and i even got depressed at Johnston's death. 2. story. you have talented writers, who know their actors capabilities obviously. 3. heart. i know this sounds sucky, but the show had a strength at its core. it had real human emotion set in fiction. the stories were all the same human stories we see, but in this post apocalyptic world jericho was setting a new bar that i dont think personally any other show can reach. having said that, and having seen the previews for kid nation, i am saddened to think such a smart program has been shafted for reality tv again. from across the seas, i plan on travelling to comic con, san diego in the rare hope i get to see my favorite cast. dont insult us cbs, 7 episodes is not enough to tell the tale that needs to be told. -thank you.

So tonight I did something that by the time it was over I was just so excited and so pumped! My dad and I went to Blockbuster to look around and once in there I saw "Jericho" Sitting in the "New Releases" section! My dad and I went over to it and stood there when people came by we asked if they were looking for a really good show to watch. When they answered, I started telling them ALL about "Jericho"! I told them about our efforts to get "Jericho" back on t.v. and how we were rewarded. I told them all about the show (without giving anything away). Because of my efforts...6 people rented the first four episodes of "Jericho" and 2 others will be watching the show online!
Maybe this isn't how a lot of people want to get new viewers but if you really want to and you have no problem with talking to people...You should really do this!!!!! Rally on "Jericho" Fans!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Seven episodes is a start, BUT IT'S NOT ENOUGH!
How does CBS determine if the have a sufficient audience? If CBS can play season after season of trash like American Idol, then they should be able to play a quality program like Jericho.

Why would they kill of Johnston Green, (Gerald McRaney)? He was such a backbone and I know I wasn't the only one who's heart was broken by his death on the show.

Are we getting much of a chance here? A lot of people (especially the crowd they want) going to be home on Fridays to watch? Not to mention next seasons shows will be dependant on how the re-runs go.

I read some of the messages from before CBS brought Jericho back on board and many of the posts stated that Jericho wasn't for younger viewers, or the early-20's crowd. My husband and I are in our early 20's and this is the only CBS show we watch. We are both sick and tired of all the new reality shows and fluffy programming that seem to plague network television these days. Many of our friends and family watched it after we told them how amazing the show was. I just hope that these efforts weren't in vain - I wish CBS had a better method of tallying its viewers... I know that I watched most of the episodes online (I'm a student, so Wed. nights were bad)... Many of my friends DVR'd the show... Which is the best way for us to reach CBS? Do we really need to email them after we watch each show? If so, I'm game.

As some of you already know, Clay Aiken is a huge fan of "Jericho". I am now another huge fan of Jericho since Clay Aiken blogged to his fans and encouraged us to save the show. Thanks to all of you and to all us Claymates who petitioned and sent "Nuts" to CBS to save this terrific show!
