In episode 9.02, 2 missles were seen being fired. Where did they go? I am sure that it was not target practice time. I don't think China because of the supplies that they received. Nor do I think Russia or Korea. There has been no mention of any nuclear exchange on any of the broadcasts. Ideas?

I think it's safe to assume that the events from Vox Populi to Semper Fidelis all take place one right after the other because Hawkins finds Sarah in the episode right after the Day Before which reveals Sarah showing up, and it's likely to have taken place the next day, then in Heart of Winter, Sarah and Robert embark on the same trip they talked about in Black Jack, and I don't see any evidence proving that Semper Fidelis takes place more than a day after the events in Heart of Winter. If that's true, then the winter in Jericho only lasts 5 days!? Something must be wrong either in the writing or in my figures. Anybody have any ideas?

I think that the attack could not have occured on October 1st, 2006.
If you will look on your calendars from 2006, October 1st was a Sunday. What school system has a field trip on a Sunday? And the events from Casus Belli, One if by Land, Collition of the Willing, and Why We Fight are all very close to one another, within one week would be my estimation. Multiple different characters at different times through those episodes mention normal things that they were doing 5 months ago, in essence saying that it had been 5 months since the attack. So if the attack is still put in early October, that would put the events of those episodes in late February (at the earliest) to mid March (at the latest).

In wikipedia it lists the attacks having occured during a presidential address to a joint session of congress, specifically tuesday, september 19, 2006 at 8:05pm edt. Why the difference in dates?

The series has been confirmed to have taken place in 2006.
Go to: http://jerichoboard.cbs.com/n/pfx/forum.aspx?tsn=1&nav=messages&webtag=CBSMBJericho&tid=984 Eric's age in the series is 29 and he was born in 1977. That means that the series takes place in 2006. Jake's age on his passport is assumed to be fake given his past, so Eric's driver's license has been made the more credible source. Until better information comes along, please do not change the year. Thank you.

I think that OMT takes place on the 21st of December because Gray Anderson's board says it's 100 days until April 1st, 2007. That means that the episode takes place 100 days before April 1st, putting it on December 21st. This justifies comments that the refugees had "been burning through meds for a month" because a month is a very relative term and could mean a full month, or could just mean fom November 29th to December 21st. Close enough to one month for brain surgery.

Nice timeline, although I believe the year is off. It's almost certain that the year when the events in the show take place is 2009, based on Jake's age and his information that Hawkins reviews. That would put Thanksgiving on Nov 26, and change the year, but the rest would remain the same.

This is an excellent resource. Thanks for adding it. We have a similar section called Attack Timeline, so I've moved it under that larger umbrella. Hope that's okay...

Thanks guys. I have been wanting to make a timeline for a while but they never threw us enough bones. When they had the Red Flag episode though, I knew it was on Thanksgiving, so I used all the captions and every other bit of evidence I could find to piece together this timeline.

Well done. This is a very nice simple timeline of events. It is much appreciated for some of us who are just now getting caught up.
