Jericho, as it was, does not need to go any further. What I would like to see is a reboot of the story focussing more on the plot to blow up all the cities
that got bombed, and how the conspiracy came to be and how Hawkins and his other folks try to bring it down. The bomb is now in Texas, so Jericho really is irrelevant to the story now. I would like to see how Hawkins and Jake would be able to expose the plot, and bring those who are guilty to justice, or death. It could be something more along the lines of '24'. They could go back, and tell how the conspiracy started, how Hawkins got involved, and focus more on the action, intrigue, and talk about how Texas fights with the Cheyenne government. The one thing that I haven't pieced together is whether Dallas and Houston were able to survive or not. I don't think they ever named the city that Jake flew to after the two fighter planes from Texas intervened and shot down the Cheyenne planes. Being from Ohio, I have to say that having Columbus spared and identified as a seat of the government was a nice touch. Maybe they could go into that angle a little more also. I like the character of Hawkins, and Lennie plays him really well. I would love to see more of his story. A suggestion for a new title of the show? How about simply 'Hawkins: Covert Ops'? I resisted the impulse to suggest 'Jake and the Black Man'. LOL

Greeting Rangers, Old and New, this is Sandbagger. Well it's been 1 week since the Devils Due Comic has been released, so by now all of you have had ample opportunity to purchase and read the latest installment of our favorite series.
Many of us longtime fans have been asked to review and comment on the new editions, in the hopes that this will stir discussion and continued interest in Jericho. In that regard, I am asking all the rangers who have already read the first installment to add thier comments. This invitation is for ALL Jericho fans, regardless of how long you have been with us. just watched for the first time, was engrossed from beginning to end!I personally rank it second only to DARK ANGEL, my biggest credit has to go to the director though, simple little things like the way experienced combatants & non-combatants entered buildings(ex-military myself) REALLY made a difference to the realism to me.hope the movie comes out for the third season...!

Wow..I know that the show is over and I have said it before but I just now seen Jericho so cut me a'lil slack ok ..but this is IRAQ all over MSNBC just now on 9-11 Talking about the IRAQ WAR and how it was BIGG business and it was just like J&R in the show it just seems to me how this show is the mirrow of Jericho that just maybe give its due here ok keep an open mind ok ..what if the show got to close that it may wake people up and,and,this has been planed out to happen but not put in place oboviousley but and maybe IRAQ as I said before was a staging ground to see if it would work and it did ..so it would work here GOD forbid it happen here that a corporation could act and get AMERICA back but would it really be AMERICA would somebody have there own agenda ? well Im going to leave it there anfd bid 'a' due' good nite people I just hope Im wrong here but I here in the back ground on my TV them talking about BLACKWATER and the bad attack there and how they attack the IRAQI PEOPLE which ended in a bloodbath sound like something you heard before..hmmmmm?

I was informed that this show will never get another chance to carry on for a bunch of reasons and if you look at things now this show is so close to home right now its down right scarey I just got thru watching all of it its taken me a week and I find it scared the heck out of me I found so much of it happening right now now Im not going to go in to details of it but just know this show is more real than you think ....just look around you things that already happened with corporate America and tell me you dont see it .......

Hello! My daughter & I just discovered Jericho on Netflix and in less than a week, watched both seasons. I can't believe this show started in 2006 and really bummed that it's ended already. I have to say that with current events in the world, the story line seems "scarily" real. That is, if you follow the conspiracy theories that float around these days... Makes you think what could really happen if things fell apart in our world.
I would have liked the series to have shown more of what was going on in the rest of the world, especially in Hawaii (where I'm from)... Anyways, a great series! Just sorry I missed the boat.. Aloha, Rea

THIS is a new show that can help you out - because your missing JERICHO !!! ITS ON TNT @ 10:00PM EST . I HAVE SEEN THE FIRST 2 HR SHOW, AND ITS LOOKS VERY COOL , it has the feel and grit of Jericho- i know nothing can replace it for real , but this helps the pain go away a little while watching this new show , check it out and let me know what you think.

It seemed like this show was intended to be a book, but made more sense as a TV show. Is there still a possibility of a book being written to continue the story or deliver more details? I would definitely be interested in that. Just wondering. A response would be much appreciated.

I picked this up from another Jericho Board today! Someone emailed Carol Barbee!
Hi Everyone, I emailed Carol this morning to ask if she could give us any kind of update on how things are going. Below is part of that email (which she told me I could share): "We have a meeting set to pitch it as a movie. There is a meeting coming up about a graphic novel. I've heard through the grapevine that the comcast discussions continue. Fingers crossed. Carol" Just wanted to give everyone a shot in the arm. Keep fighting! When meetings are happening and discussions are taking place, I think it's a good sign that our favorite town and it's residents will have a future. Hang in there! -Rubberpoultry

My husband got me Jericho series for Christmas!. Mind you we have "unplugged" from TV 6 years ago. We only watch DVDs...This series was absolutely AWESOME, the best TV in a long long time...Obviously we can watch TV on the net if we want to. We were at the edge of our seats. I did not like the soap-operish first season dealing too much with relationships instead of the main plot!
Wake up America, this is as good as it gets. Forget comic books (I am 53) please continue with the plot and keep the focus on the small town of Jericho as far as their reaction to a possible civil war and the re-structuring of the country. This is the best made for TV, realistic, Apple pie American story and we need more of that. Regular sitcom programs are an insult to anyone with average intelligence. Reality shows are an exploitation of humanity in its lowest level. American idol is the dumbest waste of time. Why would anyone watch that unless they had absolutely NO LIFE? We need more intelligent shows like Jericho! Please give us MORE.... Gambier, Ohio Organic farmer and healthcare professional boomer couple

Hey Jericho fans, I just finished watching the episode 7 of the 2nd season, and I couldn´t be any more excited about getting the rest of it!!!!!!!!!!!
Again, such a shame they series got cacelled. Now that Jake and Hawkins delivered the bomb, the real big stuff is about to start happening, US wide... And what about Gray and Eric, now that Beck stood down, don´t know how long he´ll stay in office, they both have the job of brining Jericho back up. What about Constantino? I don´t think he will stand still watching Jericho get back up on its feet. I´m thinking about making my own Season 2 story, for the rest of it, and post it here for you to see and comment on. See you later and my hopes are still up...
