Meet the actor: Bob Stephenson What we know
One of the original force - he and Bill were the only two left after the Sheriff Dawes and the other deputies were killed.
Was born in Jericho. Played football in high school. Loves to watch television with friend Bill. Never seems to stop talking.
Seems to have taken a liking to the Hawkins Family. When Robert and Darcy seperate, she and her children go to live with the Jimmy Taylor and his family.
Jimmy seems loyal to Johnston Green even after he is no longer the mayor. He seems to have a strong moral code.
Role in the town
He's the front line. He'll do whatever it takes to protect Jericho's way of life.
Family and Relationships:
Married and has two children, a son named Woody and a daughter.
Close Friend: Bill -- He and Bill seem to be best friends. However, there seems to be some tension in their friendship since Bill supports Gray Anderson and Jimmy is loyal to Johnston Green.
He's close friends with most people in town. He may be next in line for the role of Sheriff of Jericho.

Sheriff Taylor (wasn't that Andy Griffith?...anyway.....) reminds me of Columbo. Seems a little simple, talks a lot about nothing.... and then suddenly he'll hone in like a laser on something. Best scene: When he holds out his hand to shake Hawkin's hand (who has his hand on the gun in his pocket). This forces Hawkins to shake hands with him, and Jimmy grips Hawkins hand tightly and says, "We found the body".

He's really good character, one that (so far) you can count on for fighting for what's right and being extremely funny. I like his attitude on every episode except episode 4, because that's when he refuses to touch the sick man, Victor. Stanley says, "What if it was me lyig here, Jimmy? Would you leave me?"
Jimmy says, "It's not like with you, Stanley. We don't even know who this guy is." I disagree with that, but a guy can't be perfect. Jimmy is great. |

I think Jericho should elect Jimmy Taylor as the new sheriff of Jericho.
So order can be restored. They should pick Jimmy, because everybody in town knows him. He is also more friendly than Bill Erikson |
