Biography
: Kenneth Alexander Mitchell
When Kenneth was growing up, he attended a high school for the arts in Toronto, studying everything from acting to painting. He spent summers at Kilcoo Camp in Minden, attending first as a camper before graduating to camp instructor and counselor. "That was a big part of my life," he says. "It taught me many things about people, friendships, love of the environment, learning to laugh and cry, learning to appreciate people, love and dance." The experience also gave him his first chance to perform. "I loved to do skits in front of everyone. I loved to play guitar at campfires. That's where I say it all started - Saturday skit night." Looking for a way to combine his artistic bent with something that offered more secure career prospects - "I didn't want to become a starving artist" - he chose landscape architecture and the University of Guelph.

While at U of G ,Mitchell spent five years studying landscape architecture, including a final year in Australia, before graduating with a silver medal from the Canadian Society of Landscape Architects. After graduation, he went to work right away in the landscape

architecture department of ESG International Inc., an environmental consulting firm based in Guelph, where he worked on designs of trail master plans - including the TransCanada Trail - the City of Toronto bicycle master plan and a multi-use outdoor sports facility for Guelph. While still working in Guelph, he hKenneth Mitchell - Jerichoad begun to get parts in televisioncommercials for everything from athletic gear to potato chips to beer. After transferring to ESG's Toronto office, he met an agent and began working with acting coach David Rotenberg, learning to prepare for parts and how to listen and "be present" in a scene. Mitchell says he even found himself drawing on aspects of his undergraduate program, especially presentation and social skills.

Kenneth Mitchell - JerichoCareer Bio: He was dating a successful Canadian actress when he decided to try acting."I had gone to the arts camp for kids," Mitchell said. "I really enjoyed doing things onstage."
Mitchell co-starred in two short-lived series. There was "Leap Year"; there was "Odyssey 5," in which he played the "normal" one whose father and brother had a science-fiction adventure.
He also had a meaty role in "Miracle" as the hockey player who just missed the cut for the U.S. hockey team that went gold. For a Canadian who played hockey as a boy and soccer in college, it was a dream job.

From the very first episode in Season 1, the first time I saw Eric (Kenneth Mitchell) all I could think was how much him and Colts QB Peyton Manning look alike. Does anyone else see this?

He seemed to get a little back bone when him and his brother went off to get some medicine for their sick father.. I like him but I think he should have more say in what goes on... and he should stay with the woman he loves , don't be with the wife just cause she was having your baby

Bless Your Heart! That's a Southern "verbal bandage" that supposed to fix all things. The producers have kind of put you between a rock (April) and a hard thing (Mary). Get it?
I, personally, don't care for your character AT THIS TIME, but, I have faith you'll pull through and surprise us all. Maybe Eric could be our 7th President? He is unemployed, isn't he?
