"When I copy the code at the beginning of the show I usually have to go thru the msg 2 or 3 times to get it all as it is sent pretty fast and my copying skills aren't that fast anymore. They used an apostrophe in one of the code transmissions and while I might have known it at one time it went totally over my head and I never figured it out until they said what it was! I think they show some operation of older ham radios using single- sideband transmission. I guess those must be tube type radios that survived the electromagnetic pulse from the high altitude nuclear explosions. Supposedly, solid state radios, unless they are specially shielded, can't survive EMP.

Anyway, Jericho is the first network tv show I've liked in a long time.
