I was also a Radioman in the Navy few years ago(and pretty darn good one). The morse code in ep13 is NOT "bleeding KS". There is no G in the code. It is given as a U. So the code is actually "bleedinu KS" which makes no sense. You can check it out your self. (G = --. and U = ..-)

I was a Radioman in the Navy many years ago and am a bit rusty however when I first noticed that there was a message into the code being sent the sender was terrible. I did notice a change about 3 or 4 episodes ago and the sender was much better. I enjoy trying to decypher it every week. It does take video taping so I can replay it several times to get it translated.

Think about it, do you think that Jericho has a tratior in its mists? I mean, 10 jericho men were in New Bern, do you think any of the men were pulled aside, and told of the plan, and agree to help. They did have alot of info about Jericho in ep 19 when Hawkins and Jake found New Bern's plans for jericho.

On episode 1.11 we posted the Latin translation as well as the Morse segment. I thought I would take a stab at the Latin title this time.
I am not a lawyer and don't know the generally accepted translation for "casus belli," but based on my understanding of the two words "casus" or "thing" and "belli" or "of war," I would interpret this additional Latin phrase to mean "a reason for war." Wikipedia seems to back me up. Incidentally, thanks to all you Morse nuts for your postings. Despite my father's best efforts ( a Navy radioman in the late 50s) I never picked up more than a few letters. It seemed like a dying art. I felt justified when they dropped the Morse requirement for a ham license, but now this show has made me wish I had learned more. |

It is "Who Ran Red Bell" - as in, "Project Red Bell", mentioned roughly 22 minutes into the episode (with commercial time). The spacing is crummy, but the spelling is correct.

Once you see the actual waveform of only the Morse Code, you'll see that it is: WHO RAN RED BELL
That doesn't make any real sense. But, if you add a letter that they didn't, the result is: WHO RANG RED BELL Considering that they've screwed up the code multiple times, that is what I think it is and I'm sticking to it. Go to vidiot.com/Jericho/quickref1.html to see the actual waveform.

I got the dot sequence, but can't figure it out properly, help please
The dot sequence I'm happy with is: .--....---.-..--..-..-.. It's probably wrong, but I think its close enough. See what you can decipher with it. I think the first world is "Who", and the second is possible "ran", but I don't know. Someone with more skill should probably do it, I think I've done my part :D

To answer a comment, I do not pull these from any other site. If it is available anywhere else, before I do these postings, I have no idea where.

Okay, the first word is Who, but that's all I got so far... My guess is it says Who is Rob, or something to that effect. Gaaah, and this is with Morse on easy mode, with a chart by my side, and with a amplified and stretched file. Lol, this is why I didn't became a HAM radio operator...
