Pages Missing or Eliminated?This is a featured page


Hey fellow Wiki Fans. Is it just me or does it appear to anyone else that some pages and / or topics are disappearing? There have been a few topics that I've tried to follow, especially once I've gotten an email stating there was a change to a page or a response to a posting.

Funny thing about it to me is it appears that the pages missing are pages that see to have information that could cause one to really contemplate issues, in connection not only to the show but also to a "real world" scenario.

I wonder if anyone with an interest in keeping a topic like this under wraps could possibly have influence on the direction of the Wiki, trying to prevent people from talking to much??

Perhaps, some of you are saying that I'm way to fanatical about the show or crazy with this idea, but you never know...

Hello franfran,
Wanted to respond to your observation--you have a good eye! Yes, some of the pages are disappearing, but the content is being moved and consolidated elsewhere on the wiki. In particular in the Plot theories section, there were many pages being created around the same/similar topic, and there was very little content on the pages. In an effort to streamline the user experience, the other moderators and I are combining the information into one place (including moving all the comments and replies), and then deleting the "extra" pages.

Nothing larger at work... Though do remember that posts that are inflammatory, or contain personal attacks or broad negative generalizations about one group, nationality or religion are not tolerated and will be deleted because it does not fall within the Wiki Code of Conduct.
