Process of Elimination
- Its not an experiment by the US, the television broadcast proved they are not in control.
- It is highly unlikely it is aliens.
- It could be China, but nobody has died from the dropped food yet, so they are a maybe.
- Recent episodes reveal that China and Germany along with other countries are responsible for food drops. That discredits this theory somewhat.
- Russian planes were being used to drop Chinese food using American parachutes. Sounds more like a worldwide relief effort than World War III.
- Who really hates us? Many nations/factions in the Middle East but they would be the obvious choice, so maybe it's not them . . .
- Our government or any faction within wouldn't want to plummet us from ruling world power to third-world nation. Politicians crave power and bureaucrats want to keep those taxes rolling in.
- Yes, but in times of disaster and disorganization, it's much easier to seize power?
- ^ Ahh, but disorganization could have been accomplished by blowing up D.C. and the president, why destroy a large swath of the country you want to take over...?
- Remember, Jericho and any other survivors have been plunged into a 19th-century world where only agrarians will survive. All manufacturing, etc., has been obviated by the lack of electricity.

New York- they caught guys with a truck and a nuclear weapon.
There was no "dropping" of nuclear bombs. They were merely brought into cities and detonated. Surely, the blackbox taken from the commercial jetliner would have recorded chatter of observed missiles, contrails, etc. These planes went up before the bombs went off, so they would have witnessed some aerial activity if it was a missile-based attack. Question: Why would Hawkins be in on the disaster ahead? It is suggested that he has some sort of government affiliation, although this may not be the case, as he had foreknowledge of the events which were soon to occur. I believe that the attacks were an inside job. Some well-connected persons who were exploiting and manipulating things to fulfill an unknown agenda. I believe these persons had connections in either the military or intelligence communities as they would have considerable autonomy. If a terrorist activity were to be going on without the complicity of these groups, the President would not have been in the House of Representatives giving a speech when the nukes went off. He would have been deep underground long before then. The Minuteman missiles being launched? Possibly for a counterattack internal to the US, against some protected compounds or some such. Or just for the EMP to render potential threats to the conspirators incapacitated. My theory- a corporate conglomerate of Halliburton/Blackwater/Bechtel hoping to either control the government or to engage in profiteering while rebuilding the devastated country, making federal money off the misery of others. |

The dirty little secret to all this is that all wars are economic in nature. It has been pointed out quite clearly that this attack was likely an attempt to cripple the US and other nations by destroying finanacial or trade centers. The WTC was attacked on 9/11 because it was an economic and political target according to Bin Laden and his deputies. They sought to cripple Western economies and force US withdrawal from Islamic lands. You have to note that Bin Laden is a believer in the historical version of Islam from about the 9th century. At that time much of present day Europe was Islamic lands.
As I stated earlier wars always have an economic component. Hitler wanted to conquer Europe and establish a German 1,000 year Reich to wield both military and economic power. You can't successfully have one without the other. Guns, bombs, and missles cost money. The Roman empire was as much an economic enterprise as a military one. It has also been pointed out that both China and Russia would be unlikely to see any real economic benefit from attacking the US in this manner. It would not be in their best interests today. At the time of this attack, maybe things have changed. My vote is that the conflict was initiated by those that thought they would benefit from it. That means North Korea, Iran, Venezuela, Cuba, Libya, and world terror organizations like Hamas. Pakistan and India are also potential sources of materials or conspirators. The plotters have to see this as gaining them something while risking them little, otherwise why do it? I'd say Venezuela, Iran, with technical help from terror groups and Pakistani nuclear scientists. The goal cripple the US and set the stage for Venezuelan communist domination of South and Central America and to allow Iran to grow unimpeded into an Islamic superpower controlling much of the world's oil and gas reserves. The next step for Iran would be the destruction of Israel while the EU writes a strong letter of protest. |
