Before the blasts, Sarah was with Robert Hawkins in an unidentified apartment in Washington D.C. She disappeared the day before the explosions and was later confirmed to have been abducted. After an unknown series of events, she wound up free, perhaps (?) on run from her abductors. She claims she travelled west, from refugee camp to refugee camp, Kentucky and West Chicago to name two. After weeks of walking, she ended up in Jericho, arriving with a group of refugees including Roger Hammond, Emily's fiance.
