thus has to be an experiment. Things are just too wrong to be true. The government had it all planned out since Jericho was founded. Even the name Jericho gives it away (Jericho = Isolation) All they have to do is fake the TV transmissions, set up explosives (TNT maybe), set up the food drops, the EMP, plant Hawkins to scare them and you have a perfect experiment. Ravenwood was a nice touch. I also believe the government planned Rogue River for that purpose too. They knew it would be a matter of time before the Jerichoans needed medicine. Its all a test.

Just want to second the "lab coat" theory. Especially when Emily's "dead" husband just happened to waltz in right before she would pour her heart out to Jake. Is this Lost??? Come on, writers. Let's think of something better - unless this really IS just a big social experiment!

Maybe Jake and Hawkins work for Ravenwood and this is another experiment to gauge peoples reactions. Crazy? Wait until some of the LOST characters walk into Jerico.

Everything I saw from the Dropping of the Bomb 2 the Fall Finale (The Dead Birds, the Garbled T.V. transmissions, the phone call from Homeland Security, the results of their attempts 2 access the internet, the emp., the missles that flew over them, all of it, on the surface it seems like armageddon, but when I dig under thar surface i get the feeling i m in a room of lab coats that r saying "that was an interisting reaction from the lab rats let's c what happens when we do this" "Interesting, very informative, let's try doing this 2 them" "Hmmm, now let's try this"
