What an amazing turn of events. You are all apart of television history. Thanks for all the hard work and support. CONGRATS!!! We're back baby! See you soon and tell the world.
I write to you from my home in London utterly staggered by the events of the last week or so. I, along with all the cast and crew from the show, was totally gutted (UK slang for 'very upset') when news came down that our show was cancelled.
As has been said by others who have posted here, Jericho was a special time for so many of us. We worked so well together and it was almost effortless, so easy. Don't get me wrong it wasn't all plain sailing, we fought and we argued and some days were best forgotten...But most days, almost everyday on Jericho was a joy. If I had to be as far away from my family, as I had to be to do this job, I could not have picked a finer bunch of people to be with than the cast, crew, writers and producers of this show.
As if that wasn't enough, my luck ran further because I was given the gift of playing Robert Hawkins. I will forever be grateful for the opportunity I was given to bring that man to life. He kept me on my toes and kept me honest. I enjoyed his company so much.
As I say, that was about as much luck as any one actor, any one show, deserved...but no, our luck ran still further. It turns out that we have about the most amazing fans that ever were. Truly your support and passion for Jericho is very humbling. You have stood up when all around you, including myself, gave up. You have reminded all of us involved in this rarefied world of making TV just who we are making it for. You have stopped being viewing figures and started being individual people who cared, who enjoyed, who were entertained, and who were loyal and committed. You were a great audience and are proving to be more than we ever could have wished for.
As I said I am staggered by your show of strength and just wanted to take this opportunity to say thank you. Thanks for watching and thanks for fighting to see more.
"Far better it is to dare mighty things, to win glorious triumphs even though checkered by failure, than to rank with those poor spirits who neither enjoy nor suffer much because they live in the gray twilight that knows neither victory nor defeat."
Theodore Roosevelt
Dear family, friends, rangers and fans...
Now you guys know victory...how does it feel to be out of the gray twilight?
I'm staggered all over again. Utterly and totally STAGGERED. Thank you, thank you...and just for good measure, THANK YOU. Thank you for your passion. Thank you for you determination. Thank you for your grace, manners and most of all thank you for your class. Your campaign was so smartly put together, so expertly organized and so very, very classy. I can't quite find the words to totally express just how impressed I am by your actions. Outside of what you guys have done for myself and the rest of the cast and crew, I truly believe you guys have made a little bit of history. You may have changed the way that TV audience figures are calculated from now on. You have certainly got all the networks talking about whether 'Nielsen' is still the best way to find out who and how many people are watching their stations. You have given a voice to the many that for a long time have been ignored. You made yourselves impossible to be ignored, and here's where your class came in... you always made it possible for CBS to change their minds. You never threatened or attacked or insulted. You were just so honest, forthright, well mannered and persistent.
I think the network deserves much credit for being open enough and gracious enough to listen to you guys and to allow you this victory.
One minute I'm saying I can't find the words to express my feelings and here I am going on and on... I really just wanted to say thank you to all of you who posted such kinds words and good wishes to me after my last post. Your words touched me deeply. Other than that, all that's left to say is WELL DONE.
I coming back across the pond to work with a wonderful group of people I believed I might never be with again as we were before. For that I will forever be grateful to you all.
God bless you all and raise a glass to yourselves.
Cheers

Michael Gaston - Gray (posted 5/18)Dear JERICHO Fans and Friends,
Many of you have posted here that you're curious about how we are taking the cancellation and why we haven't posted anything in these boards. The fact is that most of us are devastated. I wouldn't dare try to speak for all of the cast and crew, but I can tell you that I've spoken to or exchanged e-mails with about 50 people from the JERICHO family and we are shocked and depressed by the networks decision.
I've been doing this kind of work for almost twenty years and I have never encountered a kinder, funnier, more dedicated and professional cast and crew in all of that time. One of our grips told me that in 33 years on the job he was never happier to leave his family and go off to work. It has been, unequivocally, my best professional experience.
Your support throughout the season and particularly since the cancellation has been very, very gratifying. You guys rock!
I know you never wanted Gray to be your Mayor, but I loved every minute of it!
Thank you all,
Michael Gaston

(posted 6/7)Dear Rangers, friends, fans and nut lovers,
I am in awe of you all. When I told a friend of mine, a veteran actor, a few weeks ago that I thought it was remotely possible that the fans of Jericho might persuade CBS to bring the show back he told me I was crazy. And he seemed a little sad for me. That I was " deluded. This does not happen. Cagney and Lacey? Whatever. Grow up. Move on."
But I couldn't. I admit it. I watched you all every day. You were, as my dear colleague wrote earlier, classy. You were relentless. Tireless. And right. You deserved to have your story back. And now you have it! You have spoken eloquently to the network. You reminded them about the lack of promotion, the lack of re-runs, the Nielsen's, the time slot. The fact that they were not counting you. They heard you and they have responded. You forced a publicly held multi-national corporation to stop. They stopped and they re-considered whether or not they made the right move. Now, whether or not they made the right business move to bring us back remains to be seen. We will have to deliver the viewers. But this doesn't worry me. It doesn't worry me because I know and you know that the viewers were there all along. They just weren't being accounted for properly. And the publicity you all brought the show will bring even more people to the JERICHO.
Thank you, thank you, thank you. I can not thank you enough. You gave me back the best job I ever had. But more importantly, you have encouraged me to believe for the first time that the public can successfully stand up to a network. Because you so clearly and so politely spoke your desire to this huge company, they were able to hear you and see the wisdom of admitting they were wrong and changing their decision. To their credit, they were not ruled by the need to save face. As I have said before, these are smart, successful people who get it right most of the time. This time they needed your help to see their mistake. God love ya.You have made history. We will never forget this. We are so grateful to you.
Thank you,
Michael Gaston---Pamela Reed - Gail (posted 5/30)Dear Jericho Family,
Everyday I sit at my computer in total amazement. This huge response to the cancellation of Jericho is both humbling and inspiring; please accept my most heartfelt thanks. Also, know that my family and I applaud your determination and your style; you are one classy fan base!! I have been acting for 32 years and have never experienced such a reaction before, and I am right there with you. There are so many shows that, if gone wouldn't be missed ( and I've done some of those too), but this was not one of those shows. Our show had rich production value and great writing, which included intelligent story lines and characters that evolved, surprised and had depth. And, in my humble opinion, the acting wasn't too shabby either.
Our creators expected the audience to keep up as they worked tirelessly to stay ahead; unlike some shows, our scripts were eagerly anticipated by the entire cast and crew. CBS got quite a bit of bang for their buck, and for the life of me, I cannot understand why we weren't renewed. Our numbers are not all on the Nielson Box; most of my son's friends watched it on their computers and unfortunately CBS doesn't seem to understand that math sentence. Well, that is until all of you started to weigh in. Thank you for speaking out. Thank you for your dedication. Thank you for taking the high road. And PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE KEEP IT UP!!!!!!!!!!
I'd like to bake each of you your favorite batch of cookies.
Sincerely,
Pamela Reed aka Gail Green

Richard Speight, Jr. - Bill (posted 6/1)Hey everyone.
This is Richard Speight, the guy who plays "Bill" on the show. I had the good fortune to be a guest on Shaun's internet show last night. I really enjoyed getting the chance to speak to a few of you and to get a sense of your passion for and devotion to our show first hand. I was also struck by the caliber of the people I spoke to: former military personnel, wives and families of current military personnel, teachers, mothers, fathers - all of them well spoken and incredibly sincere.
I know the quality of people I was fortunate to work with every day on the set. I am, however, surprised and thrilled to see that our core audience is cut from that very same cloth. I've been in this business a day or two and have never seen a reaction like this. Thank you. Thank you. Thank you. Thanks for what you are doing and who you are. You keep doing what you're doing and fighting the good fight and I promise you, if you get "Jericho" back on the air, we will all do our dead level best to give you the kind of show you want and so richly deserve. I know that you are forging this battle amid the hustle and bustle of your own busy lives. I for one am flattered beyond words and am forever in your debt.
Again, thank you and - in the immortal words of the might Trojans of USC - FIGHT ON!!!

(posted 6/8)Unbelievable! Unreal! Unprecedented!
Way to go, gang. I've said before and I'll say it again - Jericho fans rule. Everyone involved with Jericho is so amazed and impressed by your passion and devotion...not to mention your success! We are over the moon about getting a shot at a second season, and it is all because of you. I for one cannot thank you enough. If I could, I'd buy each and every one of you a beer (or a sparkling water for you non-drinkers). Actually, what I'd probably do is get a couple of kegs and throw a thing. That'd be cool. And I'd do it at Bob's house because he has a great yard for entertaining. Plus he lives really near me so if I overdo it a bit I can just walk home. That's what I'd do if I could. But I can't. Bob won't let me. But next time you're having a beer (or sparkling water) at your favorite watering hole, just know that if I were there, the next round would be on me.

Shoshannah Stern - Bonnie (posted 5/21)Hello everyone,
I can't say what an extreme week I've been having. Hearing that the show would not be coming back was so hard for me to process because my experience on the show has been nothing short of amazing. But now, seeing how great and passionate you guys are in all your campaigning, it makes me feel so unbelievably good to be a part of something that inspires people so much.
Believe me, I know what it is like to fight for something even against incredible odds. You know, if I listened to anyone who told me "no, you can't," I would never have been able to be a part of something as great as Jericho. So I am completely in tune with how you feel and you make me very proud.
Keep believing that anything is possible if you put your mind to it. I know that you have inspired me to keep believing that for myself!
With much gratitude,
Shoshannah Stern (Bonnie Richmond)---Shoshannah Stern - Bonnie (

(posted 6/8)You guys are AMAZING. You have made history.
Every time I tell people that Jericho has been brought back, a huge smile keeps spreading over my face. I keep feeling like I should pinch myself! And guess what?
It's all because of you.
Seriously! YOU SAVED JERICHO!
I cannot tell you how grateful we all are, and how humbled I am by your fierce loyalty and endless optimism. You guys ROCK so hard. I cannot think of another show that has a fan base like this, and in light of today's issues, it's so inspiring to think about things like sticking together and working as a team toward a common goal and actually achieving it!
You've made everyone stand up and give notice.
I think we should have a Jericho Ranger Fan Club. I would be the first to sign up!
YOU DA BOMB! (pun intended!)
Love,
Shoshannah
---Skeet Ulrich - Jake (posted 5/24)To the most incredible fans ANY show has ever known: From Skeet Ulrich
I am overwhelmed and quite honestly rendered speechless at the good will created by this show and its fans! By you, by us!
I think it speaks volumes regardless of the outcome. A week ago our show was cancelled and it feels like time has stood still ever since. We loved bringing you this story. We loved waking up at 2:30 in the morning to drive an hour and a half and work 16 hours then drive home, eager and willing to do it all again the next day. Truly we did. Because when we got there we felt like a family. I miss that the most. Lennie constantly sang as he cooked up the mystery that is Robert Hawkins. Brad's incredible comic ability! The almost constant laughter and smiles. The kindness and generosity of spirit of everyone and I mean everyone (with the exception of one extra). I could go on and on.... trust me you don't want to hear it all! And as a family we never wanted to disappoint you.
We tried desperately to stay one step ahead of you and you are a clever lot! Thanks for being there for us. I will never forget this experience and it is very hard to walk away from. I have been fortunate to tell many different stories in my career but none has created the kind of discussions that this story has. Whether it was us in the lunchroom or people we would meet at events or people at the grocery store, invariably the discussion would turn to things much larger than the show, much more pertinent. And to me that is a success!
More to the point, however, is your generosity of spirit. I really don't know what to say....thank you doesn't suffice and my deck would collapse if we had a party so I am left somewhere in between. Your support is incredible and means more to all of us than you will ever know!Be well. If we can all be as good to each other as you have been to us, what an incredible world we would have.
Skeet---Sprague Grayden - Heather (posted 6/4) hey all.
I'm stunned. I'm blown away. I'm amazed.
I have been on many shows, and met many amazing fans, but i have never, ever experienced this kind of support from a fan base. First, I would like to thank all who supported the character of Heather and her journey on the show. I believe that thank you is LONG overdue.
Second, I would like to extend that thank you to all the fans of Jericho. Do you know your "Save Jericho" campaign is being compared to the campaign in the sixties to save Star Trek? It's phenomenal. Jericho was a very special experience for all of us, we were part of a family and we enjoyed every day on that set. Hopefully, somehow, we'll be able to have that experience again. But if so, it will be due to all of you and your refusal to give up.
On a personal note, I have seen many great shows disappear without a fight. I'm truly, truly honored to be a part of this fight.
Thank you, you guys rock! You are making history.
Sincerely and in gratitude,
Sprague Grayden---Sprague Grayden - Heather (
No Way)
(posted 6/7) Seriously? what?
NO WAY.
that's what i said at breakfast this morning. Our Fans are the greatest. Jericho has become the little engine that could - a symbol of the power of each individual voice. imagine what we could all do, if we took a page out of "How to be a fan of Jericho."We are in your debt, and we will do our darnedest to make Jericho worthy of your loyalty.I wonder if George Washington carver counted this in all those uses for peanuts? In gratitude always,
Your biggest Fan,
Sprague Grayden/ Heather---Timothy Omundson - Constantino (posted 5/31)Hello Friends of JERICHO,Timothy Omundson here (aka: Phil 'The Beard' Constantino).
Ich Bin Eine Berliner. I came to this show as a guest and left a Fan. I have to admit that prior to my first episode as your Beloved Constantino (feel free to Boo and Hiss) I had only seen the pilot. I asked for copies of the first half of the season and couldn't stop watching. Literally. I kept telling myself 'just one more'. Next thing I know, it's 3:45 A.M. I was Blown Away by the Top Notch Acting and Wonderful Storytelling. By the time I came back for my second episode I was gushing to everyone on set about how much I loved their show. Once it came back from break, I never missed an episode.
Guest Starring can be a lonely thing. It's like being invited to a great party where you have to mingle but you don't know anyone...except for maybe one or two of the caterers. This job was the exact opposite. The JERICHO Family (cast, crew, writers, production staff) was one of the best groups of people I've had the pleasure to work with. All that stuff the actors have been writing about, what a great time they had at work and how much they care about each other is true. I had so much fun playing Constantino and so much fun playing with Skeet and Mac and Gaston and all the others. I'll miss that. I'll miss not having to shave. And I'll miss sitting on the couch trying to figure out what the hell is going to happen next. Thanks for letting me be a part of it.
All the best,
Timothy OmundsonAnd now, a word from Constantino:Dear Jerichoians...or is that Jerichoites? Doesn't matter.
Give up! I will destroy you! I'm not saying I'll like it, but I'll do whatever it takes to see my Beloved New Bern survive another winter. Look, we all admire your spirit and your drive, but come on already! Enough with the NUTS!
You're mad at us. I get it. I said I was sorry about Johnston. What more do you want from me? Hang on. Someones at the door...!@%$#*. I swear if I get one more Mixed Party Tray I'm going to go out to my shed and build a catapult and start sending these things flying back by the ton. How would you like that? Huh?! Seriously though...Can you lay off ? I've got a pretty wicked peanut allergy.Hey, that's weird. Do you hear Helicopters? Uh oh. I gotta go.
Love,
Your Future Ruler
