The New American Revolution
This page is for people who want to discuss, The Show Jericho as the setting for the Second American Revolution. I love where they are going with this.
Also, this is a dedication to those who have fallen and those who are still here...
Does anyone else see the parallels of Jericho and the American Revolution?
The United States will be restored, 21 Stars. Heroes will fall, Leaders will rise.....
RIP-Johnston Green(We hardly knew you) Post your comments about Johnston Green or Gerald McRainey. We'll miss you. Hopefully you'll be back in flashbacks.....

Yahoo "2nd American Revolution" and youll find a link to the following article (of which I have only posted 1 paragraph):
""...This will be the ultimate fate of the United States and for the same reasons. Military and imperial overstretch, economic bankruptcy, rising social strife, internal corruption and an expansive police state whose purpose is to maintain the grip of a regime that is losing power; these were the features of the Soviet Union in its final years and it is an apt description of present day America as well. The only remaining question is: When will the US finally fall apart? If the present administration's ambitions for wars with Iran and Syria come into fruition, that may well be the beginning of the end. The further the neocon-led Republican Party tries to push its imperial ambitions, the more alienated the regime will become from public opinion. Americans love war, but only if their side is winning. Americans turn tail and run at the first sight of blood on their side. The US is presently losing the war in Iraq and will do even worse in the event of a war with Iran or Syria. The Democrats appear to be just about finished as any kind of opposition party. One can only imagine the political implications of a 2008 presidential election pitting John "Send in more troops" McCain or Jeb "Don't blame me for my brother" Bush or Rudy "Il Duce" Guiliani against Hillary Clinton. Would that be the end of America as we know it? Perhaps...""

I wonder what this is composed of. I would imagine that states like Tennessee, Alabama, Kentucky, and Indiana that were not nuked would have the best chance of maintaining themselves as a separate political entity from the rest of the Union. Cities like Nashville, Memphis, Birmingham, or Indianapolis would maintain some sort of functionality due to the large amount of material and infrastructure physically deposited in them that could be used to do whatever might be needed to maintain large urban populations. There are a lot of farms in the Southeast, along with the Strategic Petroleum Reserve. I seriously doubt that the EMP knocked out everything in the whole lower 48.

In order to save the town of Jericho-Jake will have to rely on his flashbacks with his father-since Jake's father may have had prior knowledge and in-turn gives Jake some insight on how to keep and restore Jericho safe-Jake also may know something in his flashbacks of his past. Jake's father could have also left videotapes behind as well that will help Jake with Jericho's fate....the fflashbacks of his father might hold the key to Jericho's fate.
