Thank you Sonofnun for the link to the information about the Civil Flag. It is still flown on the Alaskan Customs building. (DuncanOneal and some others need to get an education) And yes the Federal Govt HAS seized power from the sovereign states illegally. Quite a few times throughout the history of our country in fact. Anyone denying that doesn't know much about U.S. history. It's a shame. :-(

I seen where at least 4 well known military bases weren't hit, which tells me that there is still a US military somewhere too.
1. Norfolk was not hit, worlds largest military bases are there along with NATO headquarters. 2. Oak RIdge, home of the nuclear plants untouched. 3. Military bases along the South East Coast also untouched as was NASA. 4. With NORAD underground and protected, it would have been unphased and could have easily have launched our nukes from it. 5. Where were the nukes housed in Kansas at when the rest went off? 6. You can't see Denver from Jericho, sorry but, they didn't see nukes blowing there either. 7. The Migs in the beginning of the series must've come from either China or North Korea, but since some nukes were sent eastwards as well, I'd have to also say that possibly the middle east, (I'm thinking either one of the two places mentioned elsewhere in the series that Jake visited,) was involved. If it were Russia they would have went North. 8. Let's also not forget that NY and Maryland is also okay so there's two more military bases at least, not to mention the stealth bases, and where are they at? We've not seen the first one. 9. Okay the DC area was wiped out, either the President or Vice is still alive contrary to reports as neither is in the same location at the same time and definitely not at the time the bombs went off at 6 pm at night on the east coast. 10. With Norfolk not hit, the fourth in line would be an Admiral or General and they are all at NATO in Norfolk or one of the other bases around the US. 11. Should it be possible that the Govt leaders were gone, the US would be automatically under military rule, where's the towns militia? 12. With Kansas powered by Nuke plants, I can't believe they stay without power as long as they have. I can go on and on with problems with the story so far.

What do you think the state of the rest of the world is? The world economies are so intertwined and reliant on each other that if the US collapsed, the world's economies would take a massive hit. Possibly to to the point of collapse themselves. Also, with the US knocked out and confusion reigning, other governments might take that opportunity to do whatever they want. And that might mean invading neighbors or attacking internal enemies, possibly causing civil wars. In episode 9:02 who were the minutemen missles aimed at? A foreign nation, or an internal threat?
Basically I wonder: With the self appointed police force of the world, and the biggest economy knocked out, What might have happened to the rest of the world. |

In the episodes Rogue River and Crossroads it gives us some info on the mercs from Ravenwood but not nearly enough. So far weve seen what 20 of these guys tops. After hurricane Katrina the company Blackwater sent a 100+ of its best security contractors to guard federal buildings,hotels,aid in rescue and anything else they could do to help from what Jake said we can assume that Ravenwood is a decent sized company and has at least several hundred where r they? Also the Ravenwood mercs only shot people that were terminally ill or couldn't be moved people who would die anyway did these guys actually go renegade or are they still trying to do the job contracted them through some what less than moral means and oh yea most PMCs try to recruit from the ranks of ex special forces and long time cops neither group would seem likely to just shoot up a bunch of innocent people for no reason? And if this group of mercs has gone rogue is it the entire company or just this one small group?

Hey everybody. Just wanted to point out that how could Jake and Hawkins still be fine after he opened the lid of the "package" when that's supposed to be the only layer of radiation protection between the war head and them? Wouldn't they have started to suffer long-term let alone immediate affects of the radiation seeping off that warhead? Can someone tell me what's going on here?

A nuke would have been a favor for most whill now starve to death and die in th chaos.
The Democratic party has left them wanting to be nursed along by big Goverment. Goverment is just not that big. They will all be dead withing 6 months But that means they worked together to even survive the first weekend.

Please stop perpetuating this urban myth. American are already ignorant enough about history let's not add this kind of nonsense to that. There is no such thing as a civil flag. This country has one flag--period. There has never been a civil flag. There are however, people who have started this hoax for their own bizarre agenda.
Perhaps the Jericho producers intend to have the story use this hoax as part of their mythology. The new fake government is using this flag for their own reasons. They did say that part of the terrorists belonged to an anarchist group. Maybe it is they who are using this fake flag to start their own whacked out country. But in REAL life, this flag does not exist and never did.

Central to the identity of Lawrence, KS is its place in history as a Civil War border town. Also interestingly, some of the footage for Jericho was shot in north Lawrence, which temporarily renamed itself "Jericho" on the day of the series premeire.
