THE LEADING COMPANIES IN U.S. DON'T WANT THIS SHOW TO BE BROADCASTED!
"I agree with the fact that the U.S. government has put unfair stipulations on Christians' right to worship. But, I also do not remember one church scene on "Jericho". You would think that after a catostrophic event such as the "September Attacks", people whould have been piling into the churches in droves. "Jericho" did not showcase this. "Jericho" did not interweave Christianity into the storyline. Something perhaps to bring to the writers' attention for the comic book third season. " Jericho was most likely not ALLOWED to weave Christianity into the show. You do that on live TV without getting accused of being biased and even racist. I did not mean to insinuate that Jericho actually goes over Christianity, only that there are many "secret" government truths that Jericho DOES address similar to it.
(Still, if we're going for technicality, then we see a church several times...the refugees stay in one in 1.17 "One Man's Terrorist," and the the Reverend even gets a line; in 1.4 there is also a scene in the church where Johnston says to leave a repsectful silence for the twenty people who died of radiation poisoning. But no, I did not mean to say that the issue of Christianity is specifically addressed in Jericho, nor could they most likely do it justice if they attempted. Most Christians are perceived as people who go around trying to be perfect, while the real point of being a Christ-follower is to have mercy for wrongs, not to stop DOING wrongs. )
