Iran has no F-15's, it has F-14's sold to them in the 70's which are probably unsupportable now.

Figurehead
President Tomarchio is just a figurehead. I figure someone is telling him what to say and how to act. I have a feeling that someone was reorganizing the government, but didn't anticipate at least 2 of the bombs not reaching their targets. Thus, the 3 governments left fighting for power. I think the center of this was always going to be Cheyenne, due to the lack of population around.

valente and tomarchio are behind the attacks as well as other former u.s polticians .they destoyed the infrastructure of the u.s to take over the country .why else would he use nukes to take n.k and iran but to divert americans from questioning the new goverment and to show the old u.s their capabilites . the pres said in his speech the used nukes to show the world that the asa was strong while the u.s debated on what to do.why would you terrorize the rest of the world if you are not tring to take over the country and the world .they probably had some help from a foreign power .so after the took control could have an allie in the new world order .it would be up to us as americans to stop this and deamand our leaders for answers .before the change our history and our nation . were is the c.s.a .

Something just isn't right!
I am usually a conspiracy theorist. I will admit that, but everything seemed to fit together all too well in the season opener, which means they are preparing us for something! For one thing, I still don't trust Hawkins as far as I can throw him. Sure, having the nuclear bomb gives him EVIDENCE, but it also puts a huge target on his back. "Chavez", who was just introduced last night, may have an alterior motive of his own. I think someone got to him and he is trying to locate the bomb with the help of Hawkins. I am excited to see how everything plays out. Anyone else?

Inside job (cont.)
What is the antidote to mass chaos in a post-u.s. scenario? Back to the old, high ideals of family and community. “Power to the people” is the current rallying cry. Health and Human Services surviving pres. is the only link back to the way things were and approaching normalcy. Look for a “feel good” movement from Las Vegas and New Orleans to restore the united states of america.
-Also of note: Jericho is almost direct center of the country/heartland. “Frodo” will defeat “Sauron” and his minions (some military) in the heart of Mordor (the ASA where the traitor is consolidating power).

Inside job
-Only an inside group of women/men have the ability to obtain and detonate the nukes. Since there is a chance of being killed while carrying out the attacks, those who actually detonated the nukes may be extremists willing to die to kill either americans or city-dwellers. It really doesn’t matter – to one trying to sieze power in the u.s., any pawns will do – Islamic, white supremacist, u.s. religious extremists will all do nicely to carry out the attacks. The home-grown terrorists blend in better as FBI agents.
-A CIA vs. FBI battle is a possible sub scenario. Writers hate the CIA (The Good Shepherd) and love the FBI (Untouchables).
-The targets were major cities – intended to bring down the current socio-economic “system” but not destroy the country. This indicates the motive of the master-planner(s) might have been their “new world order.”
-The master-planner(s) needed to be in some position of authority at the time of the attacks so that they could be assured some form of power and control after the attacks.
-The involvement of foreign powers is/are just smoke-screens.
-Leaders of the u.s. military could also be involved (Writers hate Military Power) but probably not the master-planner(s). Most military are noble but the military is also a quick way to extreme and quick power if you can keep your true motives under cover. Don’t forget Oklahoma City Bombing example. Note the general’s response after the fight at Jericho: “Do you know why I was assigned to this area?... Because I’m good at what I do…” – not completely true! – my theory: You’re good at consolidating power, mr. general. “Let us rebuild…” says the general… too sugar-coated for my taste…

And we're sure of this how? Could he have been there for other reasons?

Not proven. Assumed because involved in meeting with troops under that flag. Valente could still be back east since the conference was video.
Are we sure that this wasn't whom Hawkins mentions as being in Nebraska when he also says that he's in his back yard?

Backstory on Heather?
What all do we know about this babe?
She come from a nearby town that all of a sudden she want's to go back to supposedly to build more windmills? Why did she take the kids on a field trip, where was that trip to? (I may have missed that last one somewhere I think they said in the show.)
With her knowledge of motors, why was she working as an elementary school teacher? Why would anyone be concerned that she got away enough to broadcast it over morse? Does she ultimately have something to do with Jakes past? Hawkins' past? When did she exactly get to Jericho and why? Where's her family at? We know her dad was a preacher, which church and what about her mom? She's only been in Jericho for 5 years, after Jake left, why?
Who was the guy who was murdered in the mine? How did she know him? At the military compound, she seemed to be putting on a show like she knew more than she let on when she called the guy "Sir", is she really military of some sort? She said she wasn't a "bad boy", did she learn that in the military or some sort of civil service outside of teaching?
She obviously had, (has maybe,) friends left in the other town, since they helped her get out, what about family? When Jake first seen her, I got the impression he'd met her before, has he? (I know he asked her name, could've been a cover up.)

We know the attacks were made by anti governmant groups, we don't know if even though the attacks were coordinated to take place at the same time and date that any of those groups were aware of another groups actions.We have a shadow governmant group working within the then exsisting governmant I think this group made a desision to make a grab for world governmant,with this shadow group in over all control.There first actions would have been to place there own men into the highest positions in these home grown American anti governmant groups ,effectivley taking control (foriegn terrorists being unsuitable to the task having there own agenda's).There next step would be to use agents from differant american security forces C.I.A. F.B.I. Home land security Military Inteligance etc etc to infiltrate these differant group as a control elemant,(if for instance if an inteligance group outside there control became aware of the plot they could then say it's A undercontrol don't intervene you will endanger opperatives already in the field. B were not trying to blow up american cities honest look we have the agent's in place to stop it .C have men or women in place in case those people placed in charge by them got cold feet or tried to change the target or time table.BOOM the attack the worlds in shock American troops around the world take out possible culprits supported by there usual allies and other countries disgusted by this attack,America now has a nuke who you like get out of jail free card claiming they are trying to protect the world against further terrorist attack, they have the sympathy of the world governmants and people around the world get behind America offering support. America goes to the united Nations request as the victim that as a planet we band together to prevent such an attack happening again.The vote goes through by a land slide any that decline are then seen as the enemy America launches nukes destroying them World domination.
