The Hand Of America wants Jericho
I don't care who wants what. I founded The Hand Of America, and I get to say we want it. I will use full power to get that show running far longer and better than Desperate House Wives. Even if it has nothing to do with the original, the creator owes us more. A LOT MORE. The ones who got rid of it owe us EVEN MORE.

Think twice. What is Jericho really about ? A conspiration . what conspiration ? Who mastermind it ? for what purpose ? . Think again. The bomb blast out in September. People fighting for their lives . RE-discovering how to help each other against evil. Jericho deserves to live on. Because Jericho helps us to think about what happen to ourselves.

So this was a little something I wrote the other day, and I just happened to make it into the newspaper. I was then informed that the publisher of the paper chose my piece over 3000 other editorials. Why I am not sure but my theory is that they LOVE Jericho.

P2P/Torrent Sites & WEBISODES that are succeeding!
Some of the strongest Jericho fans can be found not just in MySpace and on fan sites, but on broad media sites. I have specifically targeted P2P and torrent indexing sites of which I'm an active member. A strong statement comes not just from viewing, but from PURCHASING the series and using iTunes to purchase tracks specific to the show.
There are two current examples aside from Jericho that have kept the community alive and kicking for cult-favorite shows. One, as most here should be familiar with, is FIREFLY. Firefly is currently continuing with the recent release of exclusive graphic novels, as well. We were not able to get it back on air or finance webisodes YET, but we ARE working for webisodes that can be purchased episode by episode from an online site.
Many seem unaware that SCIFI has begun production and predicts the release of a series of full-length webisodes for the brilliant tv series, FARSCAPE. Farscape was cancelled FOUR years ago, and they are bringing it back through webisodes this summer (2008) with the possibility of bringing it back to television if the series is well-supported online. Yes, SERIOUSLY -- FARSCAPE is coming back!
And check out the series SANCTUARY by Amanda Tapping at Sanctuaryforall.com - a full webisode series that is available through the website. There is tremendous support for media in this fashion, and producers are adapting to today's internet-based audience.
Take a few moments to write or just print out any of the pre-written letters and send via snail-mail. Its just a postage stamp.
Remember, SCIFI is definitely paying attention, and they are willing to try NEW approaches to fit the fanbase.

Canonizing Fan Fiction
Okay, if Jericho is going to become a book series, who ever is writing the book series must decide how they are going to decide what and what not is canon.
I'm all for asking the creators of the show what WOULD have happened in later seasons, to get th general gist of what we could plan of writing.

Season 3 on Sci-Fi
First I would like to tell everyone on Jericho they did an awesome job on both seasons. I would like to see the show continue especially on the sci-fi channel. I want to see what happens between Jake/Emily and Jake/Heather relationship, plus Stanley and Mimi and the rest of the cast. Too soon to end this show.

CBS new programming
Has anyone else seen the promos for CBS' new show "Who shouldnt quit their day job?". Basic premise: they take Hollywood stars and put them in situations where they are confronted with doing something different from the norm, ie: George Takei singing country music?
THEY CANCELLED JERICHO AND PUT ON TRASH LIKE THIS?!?!?! NOT TO MENTION THE MIND KNUMBING "REALITY" TV SHOWS...

Jericho has a proven Fan base. There is people all over the world, that watch [ the show ]
love the complete package. Productions, Actors , Wrighters, true fans all around.
One true story line, that is quality, well thought.

DON'T TREAD ON ME, CBS!!!!
I just came up with the perfect idea. send rubber/plastic snakes to CBS headquarters with the message "Don't tread on me". Remember how "NUTS" spurred the peanuts campaign? Well, the producers must have worked in that particular element to spur a grassroots campaign.

Possible Network Brainstorm Thread
Let's list some of the networks that could take Jericho and why:
CW - already partially owned by the CBS corporation, they have kept shows like Supernatural and Smallville on for longer than others would have.
USA - They have some top-notch original programming.
Sci-Fi - They already have every episode made. Plus, Stargate was pretty cool.

A way to say we watched?
Just wondering if there was a univeral way to let CBS know that we watched the show and enjoyed it.
I figure if we inundate them with E-mails throughout the 7 episodes every week letting them know we watched we may get a season 3 out of them.
So, does anyone know a way to say we watched?
