NUTS
Feb 14 2008, 12:15 PM EST
NUTS is what I have to say about the season opener. It was a dissappointment to say the least. We waited and pushed for a great show to come back and it came back weak. Hawkins now trust people his wife now trusts him mrs green is no where to be found aghhh so much disappointment I almost changed the channel it didn't leave me on the edge of my seat to watch the next eposide I hope it picks up in the next one however they pretty much ended it tuesday. they could stop Jericho and it would have an ok finish the town is being rebuit government is established cars work people aare getting married life is back to normal. So now we know that if the world is destoryed by nukes it will take 6 months a few raids 1 major battle and then life will be normal again lol I hope it gets better

I too was a little disappointed in this episode. However, I love Jericho so much I am willing to watch all of the new episodes and then make an opinion. We do not know which actors were still available between the cancellation and the success of our NUTS campaign. I will support Jericho unless it gets really silly and stupid. My advice is to give them a chance to get back on the path.

I repeat the consensus that I ,too, was a little bit disappointed. Although I was thrilled to see everyone back I think the plot should have taken a slower start, and I was surprised to see how tan the ex-IRS agent was. I'm still not clear about who did this and why and perhaps the writers aren't either. I wish they would put more emphasis on how they are surviving (without enough food, etc.) and not on all these surprises changes in the characters attitude. Still, those guys from Jericho are looking awfully good. I see a romantic triangle coming for Jake. Hope his mom pops up in the episode soon.

You may want to re-watch the first episode with commentary available at http://www.cbs.com/primetime/jericho/It gives a lot of insight in the making of this episode and why it was done as it was done. Also, where this episode will lead the next one. I was not disappointed with episode 1, and I really enjoyed re-watching it with the commentary. Do you find this valuable? |

That may be the case but with a show that almost never made at the start and then almost never made it back for another season the writers should have made the season opener a smash not one that you need to watch with commentary to understand why they did what they did. I will cont. to watch in the hopes it gets better but I think CBS really missed a big chance here and many fans I feel will give Jericho a chance but it has to get better and quick or there will be no season 3

Oh, you mean other people noticed it didn't have the same kick as before? I've decided it's because there was too much waiting time between the two seasons and the suspense that was there was lost during the long summer and fall wait. I can't help but think all this dissapointment all over this WIKI can't be good for the show.
