Most likely because all they care about profits and its a relatively low cost to produce them since most editing is all done.

If CBS makes a profit from it I rather burn season 2 on DVD and send to users for free!but at same time the actors dont make a royalty... issues!!!!! what to do! 1 out of 1 found this valuable. Do you? |

Seasons 1 and 2 have been released as a set called "The Complete Jericho". I purchased it at Costco last weekend for $44.99. There are several features and bonus material, including an alternate ending to Season 2. I have to admit, I liked it much better than the ending they used on TV. Just to let you know, they only altered one storyline (the Jake-Hawkins-bomb to Texas plotline). The alternate ending didn't wrap things up so neatly and basically set the stage for Season 3. I'm looking forward to watching the whole thing again on DVD, even though it got cancelled.

I think we are all hoping that in the future we can purchase season 3 and beyond. Every time I watch an episode I see something I didn't before. I must not be as observant as other who seem to pick up on things the first time around. Always entertaining though.

I've GOT to see it! *Gets Major Beck's deadly-serious face* "that DVD will be in my charge now, oh yes it will!" Not that I didn't like the TV ending; I thought it was surprisingly satisfactory.
