The Problems with the East
Feb 20 2008, 1:26 PM EST
We have to think about this like smart people, with little food, water and weapons the East is very weak. Most people would rather go with the Allied States of America because it has food, water, weapons. Even though the ASA is not the nation that we were once proud to be part off, they still offer more. Needless to say, I hope the Hudson Vally Virus wipes out Tomarcio and his band wagon.Semper Fi -Ranger Tess 2 out of 3 found this valuable. Do you?

We know the Cheyenne Govt to be fabricating a number of facts, so for all we know, they could be thriving. 2 out of 2 found this valuable. Do you? |

I would think with east being heavier populated that food definately would be more scarse then it would around less populated areas like jericho. Put it this way one cow, deer, ect. would feed a higher percentage of jericho's then somewhere else.

I'm not so sure the East is as weak as they are saying it is. Remember, they only get the news they want them to hear. When you think about the geographical aspect, the west is a large expense of land, but population wise, I think the east has more people, esp. if NYC survived and LA didn't. It's all about perspective here and regardless, this ASA is just looking for a reason to create it's own government. With everything so fractured, it would be easy to do it if your propaganda focused on the negative. IF the east were so weak, then having TX in with them wouldn't really matter all that much (oil or not) but I don't think they are as weak as the ASA would have us believe which is why TX is a HUGE issue for them. 1 out of 1 found this valuable. The problems with the east are a fabrication at best, we KNOW the AS Gov. censors what news it's citizens get, we KNOW Tomarchio's seizure of power was based on the belief the the remnants of the lawful administration were "weak", "debated endlessly on a response"Without the belief that the US Govt. is weak and incapable of desicion making, their would be no AS govt. Therefore they must keep that belief going, and the US Govt must have some power, why else put peace keepers up and down the blue line, and as we've seen with the UN before they only act to stop a hostile invasion after it's allready happened, so I have no doubts the us is strong. They wouldn't be there to stop an AS invasion, the only reason is to do what they are mandated to do keep the peace and if the US was weak there shouldnt be a need for the peacekeepers, a weak nation dont go around pickin fights after it gets the hell nuked out of it. Not too mention the east has a majority of Army bases, all the armies training facilities, just about every major weapons contractor is in the east from Halliburton to General Dynamics.
