I guess that means that whoever Hawkins was talking to on the phone at the end of the episode knows all about the conspiracy and about Hawkins. It's probably some cousin of Sara's. :) 5  out of 5 found this valuable. Do you?

I think its Goetz . . . . . . and wouldn't that be a supreme irony, for Jake and him to actually be on the same side? Presuming that J&R are tied to the people who were behind the attacks (and it is looking like Valentia & others got the bombs and were the ones behind the attack - in order to detroy the Federal Govt and take control) Then being high-up in J&R would be the place to unravel the conspiracy. Do you find this valuable?

Okay - SO IT SOUNDED like Goetz on the phone - and what a plot twist that would have been (the only bigger twists would be if the caller was Valente or the Pseudo-President Tamarchio). But we know now that it is someone high up either a current or former J&R employee. AND its clear that J&R and Tomarchio are tied to the attacks. Since the issue of seccesion was settled long ago, to start their own country they had to destroy the legitimate govt - or so weaken it that it could not react to the seccession of states. What I don't get is how some military units could be under the authority of Tomarchio at all - particularly if ANY remnant of the legitimate govt is operating out of Columbus OH? No professional military officer would violate his oath - and if he did, who would really follow - he wouldn't be given the opportunity to persuade anyone to follow him - he would be arrested and courts-martialed. but then most TV writers don't really understand how the military works OR why it works. Do you find this valuable?
