You right on this,it will make a good Conspiracy Theory to talk about! Like I said it to soon on coming out. They haven't had time to check out for all that could be wrong with it { getting all the bugs out of it to be save enough to take}. I don;t about everyone else they came out with to soon,since it usally take years for everything else they done for others flus.

The Head of State of the Independent State of Texas is a Governor, not a President . And we possibly saw the Governor in the season 2 finale. My guess is she was the gray haired woman who was talking to the military officers when Jake and Hawkins arrived. In the alternative ending she has speaking lines and sounds like she was in charge. So its either the Governor herself or a high ranking government official. I doubt they would replace the post with a President as the plan was that Texas will join the Eastern USA after the secret about the attacks is exposed.Do you find this valuable? |

I vote for Tommie Lee Jones, a great actor, who I believe could also pull off the role as 'President of Texas. He lives 'down the road' from me in San Saba, Texas :-)

I think Tommie Lee Jones would make a GREAT President! His characters are always smart, brave, leader types.

Two people come to mind right away- Sam Elliot as mentioned or Chuck Norris. If onewanted a female President of Teax try Susan Howard, who is a native Texan.
