ravenwood or J&R settle a disagreement!
Mar 13 2008, 4:24 PM EDT
My daughter and I are split on this issue:Is the company providing the security in the shiny black SUVs that Goetz is riding around in have the J&R logo (me) or Ravenwood (my daughter)? It's referred to as Ravenwood up in the synopsis. And I know that Valente sent him over there. Help us out here or other wise we are going to have to watch the episode again. I'm pretty sure that the vehicle goetz was riding in most of the time has a ravenwood emblem

Yeah, like this one! I almost had a cow when I saw that Army truck drive up, assumed it was the regular Army, until I saw the Ravenwood logo! Kinda like the Waffen SS in Nazi Germany.

"My daughter and I are split on this issue:The Hummers that Goetz and his crew were in had the ravenwood logo on the door, likewise the deuce and a half that arrived near the end. Last night on the season 1 replay, which introduced ravenwood, those vehicles had no logo, and the truck was painted in military camo. More than likely, that truck was seconded by ravenwood for thier own use. Do you find this valuable? |

I think the Ravenwood logos will come off those vehicles once the Rebellion starts. It's kind of like the Soviet Hind helicopters where they put the Red Star just above the most vulnerable place on it, which gave Afghan machine gunners a nice point of reference! Those Ravenwood logos will become real bullet magnets before long.

When you consider the kind of individuals are hired by ravenwood, I get the feeling that some of them will hightail out of the area rather than face the wraith of the armed populace. When you consider the kind of individuals are hired by ravenwood, I get the feeling that some of them will hightail out of the area rather than face the wraith of the armed populace."Something like that happened in the 1770s when the Royal Colony of New York sent occupation troops into Vermont. The New York militiamen sent in hated the job because they sympathized with the Vermont farmers who were being kicked off their land by land speculators, expecially since they were equally downtrodden back home in New York. When the Green Mountain Boys of Vermont resisted the militiamen simply refused to confront them in an unjust cause, which crippled the occupation. Vermont got statehood in 1791. The Vermonters are very grateful to the New York militiamen and from time to time a statue is proposed--but never erected--to commemorate their help. It would be of a New York militiaman leaning on his musket, doing absolutely nothing. Do you find this valuable? |
