"I just read that Sci-Fi channel turned it down because they are developing something similar. Why not FOX? I'm wondering also, should we send postcards or letters?Alot of the letters have not gotten to sci fi yet. I wonder if they will change their minds when all of the letters start coming in. Who knows. I did post that petition to NBC......we need everyone to sign that one, it was moving incredibly slow yesterday! Spread the word.....write to everyone..............I have a feeling Sci Fi is going to regret not taking on Jericho. 2 out of 2 found this valuable. Do you? |

SCI-FI axed reruns after episode 15 about 3 weeks ago because of bad ratings. Forget about SCI-FI - they are making their own Jericho like series based on a worldwide economic collapse book. Jericho cast members have even stopped coming by the CBS boards. They know its over, theyve moved on. GAME OVER !!!

SciFi put Jericho in place of Enterprise, of course there would be bad ratings. The two viewerships don't mesh, mostly. I'm an avid fan of Enterprise and didn't even know about Jericho. I didn't watch out of protest for taking Enterprise off its regular time slot. I'm still bowled over by Battlestar Galactica's fanbase. I have sent both an email and a snail-mail letter to scifi. I detailed information on who I am specific to age, gender, level of education, career, and location. Demographics have a big impact in large-scale decision-making about the viability of a solid fan-base.As for the comment stellamojo made about Battlestar Galactica, I disagree. I believe that BSG has been a strong television show from the beginning, but there was some lag during the 3rd season that broke up the storyline. BSG was put on hold for over a year partly due to the WGA strike, but it has come back stronger with renewed passion. I love BSG for the same reasons I love Jericho - deep and rich storylines and characters dealing with issues parallel to each and every human being in today's world. 2 out of 2 found this valuable.
