America has been attacked ! Major cities are in ruin ! The government as we know it is in shambles ! Anarchy is the law of the land ! A sad state of affairs, to be sure ............ AND WHAT HAPPENS ??????? THE NETWORK CANCELS THE SHOW ! Here we are left hanging with nothing ! Did the story writers offend the " powers that be " ? Is the story line hitting too close to home ?
Jericho's story line is a very possible future for the United States ! Jericho is thought provoking as to " WHAT IF ? " HOW WOULD WE REACT IN THIS SITUATION ?
Personally, I don't care WHICH network carries the Jericho series ........ AS LONG AS IT IS CONTINUED ! CBS started the broadcasts and is a National network that does NOT NEED CABLE. ( Sci Fi does which will limit access by viewers ).

GREAT OPINION, I LIKE IT AND IT IS SO TRUE ! TODAY EVERYONE DOES HAVE THE ATTITUDE THAT OTHERS WILL TAKE CARE OF WHAT EVER IS GOING ON INSTEAD OF GETTING OFF THEIR BUTTS AND DOING SOMETHING ABOUT IT THEMSELVES. I DO HOPE THAT NOTHING LIKE WHAT HAS HAPPENED IN "JERICHO" HAPPENS TO US, BUT IF IT DOES ALL THOSE LAZY BUTTS WILL NOT SURVIVE OR THEY WILL THINK THAT SOMEONE ELSE IS GOING TO TAKE CARE OF THEM. THEY ARE TRULY IN FOR A RUDE AWAKENING BECAUSE IF THIS DOES HAPPEN THEIR MAY NOT BE ANYONE COMING TO HELP THEM! 6  out of 6 found this valuable. Do you?

I wrote a letter to all the networks talking about these same topics. I think it would be bold of a network to go against the grain and readily admit that these things are possible, and allow people to view a show like Jericho that makes you think....do I have the skills to survive such a thing. I also mentioned to NBC that their parent company GE should really think about some of they products they make.....water, wind, solar....etc that Jericho would be a good show for some of these products they make. I know how much influence that GE has, and thought that I would bring it up. It would show that GE is thinking ahead, and NBC can only profit from this idea and at the same time give the viewers what they want.........MORE JERICHO. 3  out of 3 found this valuable. I'm surprised they had the guts to make it in the first place... They started slow, "anarchists", "supremacists" were initially blamed for the attacks (September attacks, how convenient). And then on top of the whole series being pro-gun, pro-family, not promoting new age bullshit, homosexuality and obscenity and the stuff we usually see on TV, it accuses a rogue fraction of the government in bed with a greedy corporation of orchestrating the attacks?

The icing on the cake was when at the end they announce "a new American civil war".

And you expected they would make a sequel??

No chance in hell. This was too much for the powers that be in the first place.

I just saw episode 7 of Season 2 on DVD and I can't believe how good I was feeling.

And I'm not American. What's more, Americans bombed my country.

But this series made me feel pro-American. I guess there was a time when most Americans were like the folks in Jericho. Do you find this valuable?

Bravo! "Well said" is not enough. With what is going on in Washington right now, I am firmly of the opinion that the show was cancelled due to 'pressure' from someone or something in 'authority' from DC. It is too close to home to be comfortable and the 'sheeple' will continue to follow our esteemed President to the bitter end. On that note, I received an email today about B. Obama. The author is a well-known student of human nature and it is his opinion that B. O. is a narcisist and not to be trusted. He likened the subject to Hitler, Stalin, etc - all well-known men of the two World Wars. I am really worried now about our country and our children and grandchildren. What kind of a world will they have in a country where they no longer have the ability to speak their mind with confidence that they will not be arrested. It is coming, mark my word. It has happened in Russia, China, Laos, France, Italy, Germany, ad infinitum. and it all started with a narcist leader. Do you find this valuable?

Hello everyone How's it going, It's been almost a year since I was able to be here. I'm glad to be back. What your saying is how I feel too, Plus like I said before THE TRUTH HURTS. Any way guys what's going on can someone catch me up to speed, I here there maybe a movie and possibly a book being produced. Awesome I'm so sorry I lost my job and lost contact with the Jericho wiki, but I'm back now so please inform. me ASAP.
