JERICHO is one QUALITY Show. The show is what [ WE ] need to know . Make you think,Make you beware of the goverment actions. Also, Not to loose our cival rights,or , our way of life. Everyone must beware, watch, listen, and THINK. Let's all stand up for GREAT PROGRAMING, not , Dumbing down, mindless Garbage ! ! ! 12 out of 12 found this valuable. Do you?

CBS Managment is affraid that [ JERICHO ] might, hit too close to the truth.Possibly, Do Not want to offend the [ Goverment ] , other powers to be. That is what why [ CBS ] Do not Want Quality, Thoughtful, Intreging PROGRAMMING Also, Will not ACKNOWLEGE the viewers, at all. TV GUIDE / POLLES / BROGS / PEOPLE all over the Globe. 5 out of 5 found this valuable. Do you? |

I can't agree more about the mind-numbing idiocy on TV today. Another aspect of Jericho that is so important is self-sufficiency and resourcefulness. We have become so soft in America, I love the way the people of Jericho fend for themselves, help each other, and think of ways to solve problems instead of waiting for rescue. I grew up during the cold war, and there was an emphasis on preparedness, independence and courage that we don't see today.4 out of 4 found this valuable. Do you? |

RE: Becks GramYou ask if this show disturbed the power that be. I think you are right on the money with this question. The present government is behaving in a manner that appears too close to this issue. The show has made the numbed masses sit up and begin to ask questions about what is occurring in their own real lives. Who is making the big money connected to our current war in Iraq? Why is Blackwater given contracts that are worth billions of dollars without even a thought to bidding out the contracts to other companies? What is going on in the Government that private Companies are given such outrages powers that they can engage the enemy in our countries name but not follow our "rules of engagement?" Like we see in Jericho, this is the time to start asking question about what is really going on behind closed doors that are not in the best interest of our Country. It time to go back to our roots and say enough is enough, Don't tread on me! 2 out of 2 found this valuable. Do you? |
