Email from Carol Barbee!
Apr 14 2008, 8:44 PM EDT
I picked this up from another Jericho Board today! Someone emailed Carol Barbee!Hi Everyone, I emailed Carol this morning to ask if she could give us any kind of update on how things are going. Below is part of that email (which she told me I could share): "We have a meeting set to pitch it as a movie. There is a meeting coming up about a graphic novel. I've heard through the grapevine that the comcast discussions continue. Fingers crossed. Carol" Just wanted to give everyone a shot in the arm. Keep fighting! When meetings are happening and discussions are taking place, I think it's a good sign that our favorite town and it's residents will have a future. Hang in there! -Rubberpoultry 8 out of 8 found this valuable. Do you?

Ugh,... when talks get to "graphic novel" it might mean there isn't much hope, but the good thing is they are discussing so many things at the same time.I'd sure like a movie better than that, and another series even more. I wonder if they are considering a mini-series? 3 out of 3 found this valuable. Do you? |

I'm not looking forward to a movie or a graphic novel personally. For me, a continuation to the TV show is the only way to go.

A big screen version of Jericho would be interesting.

"Ugh,... when talks get to "graphic novel" it might mean there isn't much hope, but the good thing is they are discussing so many things at the same time.I agree. The series is the best possible scenario. It was the ongoing story, mystery and character development that we all got hooked on. A full feature movie would be better than nothing, and I'm sure a lot of people would go see it, but the series is tops. I was (still am) a big X-files fan, and the X-files movie was great, but I still miss the original series. A graphic novel is a definite "Ugh" 3 out of 3 found this valuable. Do you? |

A movie would be okay with me if it were a TV movie so I would get to see it or ir would be released on DVD. I really want it as a TV series. A novel, no. EVen though I have a good iminination I want to see my people. At least there is still hope. Does anyone know who initiated the talks with comcast?

Hey guys, just remember what movies did for the original Star Trek series after it was cancelled. We got Star Trek - The Next Generation, Deep Space 9, Voyager, Enterprise and what eleven movies!!! 40 years of Star Trek and I still watch them. I don't care what kickstarts Jericho just as long as it continues. Hey Carol, if your reading any of these... YOU GO GIRL!!!

Oh, come on guys! Don't be so cynical! I'm aso crazy about Jericho I'd see it in the form of a newspaper cartoon! Bring the movies, books, comics, and graphic novels! I will eat them up!Edit: okay, so only a few of you are cynical. 1 out of 1 found this valuable. Do you? |
