20. Reboot Now!

Jericho can do much the same...M.A.S.H. doesn't have the power over the youth of this nation that it would have had over the youth back when it was aired...but Jericho can, Jericho if done right can get young Americans interested in Government, in politics and in taking a side and voting and participating in Government. If this show can capture the attention of its audience...if they reboot it Jericho will show that corruption does happen, that not taking part in the government has consequences...it also shows that even at the worst of times history can be altered...Even with the Dogs at the gates there can still be hope it only takes courage and faith. Then you hit the reboot, which can easily show that taking a stand, picking a side and following it through can lead to change...the show is amazing on its own and right now it would be the perfect time for a reboot...American citizens are sick and tired of stupid shows...we watch them because they are on, the reality TV machine is going to start winding down and the first person off the mark with a hit show like a Jericho reboot (if they do it right) will be set...AMC already hit a corner market that feeds us the conspiracy crap but in a way everyone loves...ZOMBIES!!!!! AMC's Walking Dead series took everyone one for a ride, its a zombies SERIES and better yet they did it right! that is the first time I have even heard of such a thing! whoever gets wise and realizes that the Jericho series has more stories in it and the one they were telling isnt over yet, I cant wait for that day...

Amen to that, ACMobius. I've always said that if you don't vote you don't have anything to be complaining about.

Yes! You say right on the nail ACMobious! The youth of today does not need the colored for them that USA is doingok inwhich it is not. They need to know in a mess inwhich it is. Jericho did show what can happen and if you fight for what you want to get everything back right you can do it. At least they found out in time to fight for the greater good over the bad before it got cancel well at least it was started to show that the Jericho was going for . I to would like to see Jericho rebooted.

Great post ACmobius, you made some really good points. I for one would so love to see Jericho picked back up and continued again. There is so much story left to be told. One thing that hooked me from the start was the setting of it happening in small town America, if it would of taken place in some big city I wouldn't have likely watched it. Though we may never know the real reason behind the demise of jericho . Did the story line step on some very big toes ? Or was it because to many American people would rather sit there with their heads stuck ahhh in the sand watching reality shows?Myself I would rather watch something like Jericho that made me stop and think .

much agreed. Wish the networks would see it that way, The problem I see with a reboot of the show is that the town itself is no longer central to the story line....(SPOILER) the package was delivered to Texas. Beck got his head out of his a$ and everything seemed to be settling down in Jericho now...it was a good ending for the show even though there could have been more (watch the series firefly and you'll understand why I say this) But the major thing now is the 2nd American Civil War bring some of the characters into a platoon called Jericho platoon or something....the rangers that were none town essential like none deputies and all, and tell the war from their perspectives just like they did with Jericho, meanwhile what the hell is goin on with Jake and Hawkings....tell how they convince Texas to join the Columbus remnants, and then what they do in the war...You know that Jake has no pretty much been inducted into the CIA lol...Just train him and then he is gone for another like 2 yrs...the end of the show really needs to be of things getting back to normal...like the J&R government being put to an early grave and the old government rebuilding and then taking steps to ensure this never happens again...and Jericho settling back down into a little USA town, and Jake and Hawkings coming home....and the Jericho platoon returning....that is where i see the story ending what they did was an alright ending but there is still so much more to play out....

I guess I have to admit you make a point in the fact that it would have to spread out from Jericho to really continue very far. One who's story I would like to see followed is Hawkins daughter. She has the potential to follow in his foot steps. One of my all time favorite scenes is if memory is correct it took place torwards the end of the first season. They were preparing for an attack from Newburn, Hawkins was passing out guns and hands one to his daughter. As for Jake I always thought there was more to his story then was ever really told . I always thought he had some training somewhere besides his time with blackwater, oops wrong name. By the way I don't know if you are aware but there is a graphic novel that kind of continues the story.
