Greeting Rangers, Old and New, this is Sandbagger. Well it's been 1 week since the Devils Due Comic has been released, so by now all of you have had ample opportunity to purchase and read the latest installment of our favorite series.
Many of us longtime fans have been asked to review and comment on the new editions, in the hopes that this will stir discussion and continued interest in Jericho. In that regard, I am asking all the rangers who have already read the first installment to add thier comments. This invitation is for ALL Jericho fans, regardless of how long you have been with us. So here's you chance to speak out and support Jericho. Thanks to all of you who have been part of the fight for Jericho

I thought the comic book did a great job of maintaining the feel of the series and continuing the story from where it left off. The biggest problem was that it just made me that much mor hungry for more. Here is a good review of the first issue: http://axiomsedge-scifi.com/wordpress/2009/12/02/comic-book-review-jericho-season-3-1/ 5  out of 5 found this valuable. Do you?

Howdy Sandbagger,

You have my attention, what this about a comic book version of the third season of Jericho?? I, too, miss watching Jericho and a small fix would be better than the continued drought. I,obviously, have not kept up on current affairs. Where are these comic books sold? Amazon? Or other online vendors?

Watch your six,

moutainman.

Re: the Comix books,There is a web site that has the location of comik Book stores in the country,A google search under "comic stores" should work. You can also order at Amazon.com. or for the best information go to the source, Devils Due Publishing, who are responsible for the comic's.
You will not be disappointed.Trust me
Annie: I've probably said this before.but so long as your son is with his brothers and sisters(ie Fellow Soldiers) he should be in good hands.Take care friends

I got mine today and read it right away, it was so good. The only problem I had was I don't think the ASA fighters could have made it across Texas without being seen. I can't wait for the next issue. Now I need to read it again. Do you find this valuable?

Something that did bother me about the ASA fighters was that they were F/A-22 Raptors, which were recently cancelled (?) by the Air Force. It seems unlikley that those kinds of fighters would be involved in any action. But than again, this is an "Alternate History" story, so anything is possible.

Actually, they still use the Raptors they just aren't making any new ones instead are now using the F-35 Joint Strike Fighter

Unless you have pre-ordered all the series, I would recommend finding a comic book store close to you and enquiring about the series.
A store in up inTroy that I checked out had only planned to buy a couple copies, but when I asked about availability, the manager said he would order some more, just in case. That sounds like a good plan to get more sales for the series.

I've never really been a comic book guy, but it's not outside my nerdy-comfort zone, hah. I pre-ordered the whole Season 3 graphic novel (144 pages, all 6 comics in one). The graphic novel comes out on January 3rd, which I think is strange, because it comes out before the last individual comic of the season comes out. I ordered it on Barnes&Noble's website, it's around 20 bucks. Can't wait! I'll be sure to post a review when I'm done reading it. Do you find this valuable?

Hello everyone, I sure hope the holidays went well for everyone. I picked up 2 copies of the "Season 3" at my local Graham Crackers Comics just after Thanksgiving but held off reading it until Christmas because I had wrapped up a copy for my daughter for Christmas. You can order from them on line at http://www.grahamcrackers.com/ I enjoyed the issue but of course it was short. I'm looking forward to more and now my other daughter has started watching my DVDs or Jericho because her sister and I talk so much about Jericho. Its really cold here in Chicago so to my fellow Chicagoans, stay warm, inside and read a book. I'm re-reading "Red Storm Rising" for about the 30th time. I believe it's my all time favorite book.

glad you had a good holiday and enjoyed the first comic. I still would prefer a novel over a comic but I'll take anything that has to do with Jericho. I haven't read Red Storm Rising yet.

I normally don't like Tom Clancy, his books rely too much on obscure technology, but I listaned to an audion version of "Red Storm Rising", and it osunded interesting, and there's no Jack Ryan in it (yea). I'll have to track down a copy.
I will have some extra time in my hands for the next few months (my idiot director decided to cut my hours ,again) and will see if the second installment of Jericho:S3 is out yet.
Im really waiting for the end of the week, I ordered the Jericho book on Amazon, and it will arrive just in time for my Birthday.Thats a cool present to get, even if I bought it for myself.

Sandbagger to me this i s probably the best Tom Clancey book I've read and I've enjoyed the Jack Ryan series of books. But Red Storm Rising is co-authored by Larry Bond and if you have not read Larry Bond you just gotta take a ride on one and there is no order to his books; Red Pheonix, Cauldron, Vortex, Enemy Within, take your pick it is ALWAYS World War III, it just starts in different places China, South Africa, China/North Korea and his books were written on current events at the time of the book. Try it, you'll like it and Happy Birthday
