"hahahaha!! started reading my graphic novel yesterday, yes im late but i dont care!! i love it im scared to finish it.... i dont want it to end the colors and art work are just amazing i want another novel and im just on chapter 3!!! lol feels like im watching the show again seriously does.."
I know the feeling. I tried to read mine as slowly as possible so I could savor every last drop of it. It left me craving for more. Maybe since this one was such a hit they will come out with another yet.

So I just finished watching the series on Netflix, now what. How could they just let it end? What is the book or comic book? Does it pick up were the series ended? Do you find this valuable?

Welcome, Meagan. You are not alone. There are a number of people who have just joined us after recently seeing Jericho on line or Netflix. The comics, all six, are out. The graphic novel and the comics are all available at Amazon. Most of us are currently on Roll Call. We do talk about Jericho but there are other topics going on that relate to Jericho like survival, politics, life in general. Again, Welcome.

Welcome dankJ. Your comments are repeated here by many people especially those that have just discovered Jericho. I said this when the series was cancelled the second time at the end of Season 2 that Jericho is now the best mini series ever made, even though that was not the original intent of the producers. Most of us are active on the "Roll Call" thread.

Me too, me too. Watched on Netflix and loved the show. Everything. The characters, the actors, the music, even the direction. Like when Jake is on the porch after his father died. That was powerful. David Lawrence did a great job with the music. I plan to check out the conic/novel. Wish they would bring the show back. Skeet hasn't had good luck with his TV series...and he's such a good actor.

Welcome ilovejakegreen, the more the merrier. It was a great series that ended up being one of the best mini-series ever produced for television. As far as the music goes, if you ever get the chance to view the commentaries done by the producers, the music was from one of the producers iPods. They didn't like the soundtrack done with different episodes and kept handing them their iPod saying pick one. The most up to date discussions are over on Roll Call and your more than welcome to join in. We do talk everything and Jericho. As long as we're at it go to this link and vote for Jericho to come back to the SciFy channel:

Morning Fellow Rangers,

In my search for a substitute for a "Jericho" fix, I have happened upon the first season of "The Walking Dead" on Netflix. Lenny James is one of the characters, but I suspect his character does not return til the second season. Can't wait. The series is intense like "Jericho" but with a zombie type twist instead of a nuclear holocaust. However, it does not take long to watch the 6 episodes. That has lead me to search other media - audiobooks.
I have been listening to an audio book lately, "We're Alive". Another zombie type scenario, but the fact that it is like a radio show instead of just a single reader, reading a book makes the overall effect rather powerful. Which, leads me to my point. "Jericho" as a TV show very, very powerful delivery platform. How about "Jericho" as a audiobook/radio show/podcast - I believe it would be way more power platform than the graphic novel, since the character voices could be the original actors?? That would allow us seeking a "Jericho" fix to get 9/10th's of what we need. We need to know more about how the story progresses and what the conclusion is. Remember Rangers, never give up hope!

What a great idea gc mountainman. I never thought of that and I’m from the tail end of the radio generation. I still listen to “Old Time Radio Classics” on WBBM radio in Chicago when I can. The comedy shows are great but I’ve always like listening to the story shows like Lux Radio Theater, Campbell Playhouse, Suspense, Escape and The Creaking Door. I don’t know how you would go about promoting that but it is a good idea. Do you find this valuable?

I don't think that would work. One, the original actors aren't going to do voice only. Two, the show is too visual to work in that genre. We need to push for full on telecast. Should we contacting Netflix, the actors themselves? Do you find this valuable?

Netflix may be an option, but I do not have any idea of their financial resources to start producing exclusive programming. It is a good idea. You don't happen to know anyone at Netflix do you??

No, I was referring to another posting that said Netflix might produce a cancelled show (not Jericho). There is a website to vote to get the program rolling again. I just assumed it was Netflix. Actuaaly, it's about Netflix and Terra Nova. I guess the rest is just wishful thinking. Do you find this valuable?

Walking Dead is a great series. I think its the highest rated show on cable right now. I won't spoil anything for the second season but there are some intense moments and great character development. The season finale on Sunday was crazy. It was so intense I didn't want to watch the replay of it cause I couldn't handle it.

Looks like Netflix may be putting some weight on CBS. We may yet see more Jericho. Finger crossed.
