I wouldn't doubt it. But then again, most of the sets at paramount were generic, and only sinage was changed from time to time. The bigger question is if any of the noticible items, such as the Eagle Monument and the sign at Gracies store was kept after strike.
If such items were saved by the production co. it would be too easy to post them back up on the lot, in the event filming was to resume.

Case in point, back in the summer of 08, Ang Lee filmed his movie "Taking Woodstock" in my home town, all the sinage and sets were up for two months, then struck. I asked one of the PA what would happen to the signs, she said they would be kept by the production co. until they fely there was no longer a need for them.
I heard some of the signs were donated to the Bethel Woods Performing Arts Ctr. for thier Woodstock museum.
The same could be happening for the Jericho set.

I know last year there was a fan who went to the set and it was part Jericho/part Swingtown. I have not seen any other mentions about it, sorry. If you want to see the photos of his visit there, go to savejerichoagain.com and scroll down to the older news. He had met many of the actors and writers, etc. for dinner. It's a nice article to read. Do you find this valuable?

It's funny you shoul mention Swingtown. I seem to remember it was being hyped as the next big thing on tv, and then what happened, it died a quick and sudden death.
Too many shows are suffering the same fate, they get super hyped and then nobody watches. The only real success stories anymore are the basic cable shows that take calculated breaks during their season, such as some of my favorites, Burn Notice and Leverage. These two shows are a bit gritty for network programing, but then again, the networks keep complaining about losing viewers to basic cable. Go figure.

There would be no reason to take the main street set down. It is built in a parking lot between 2 sound stages. It was used in Swingtown and was in some of the webisodes of Harper's Island.

Melrose Place was the last show filmed there. I don't watch that show, but it is likely that any outside street shots could have used the redressed Jericho set.

The interior sets were stored.

The Richmond Ranch set is still in use and has been seen in some recent movies.

I heard that Jon Turteltaub had the Eagle Monument and Gracie's store was still intact (sign was changed) when we saw it at the Welcome Home to Jericho event last April. Melrose Place was already filming at that time.

Didn't we try that approach back when Jericho was cancelled the second time?
If anything, mabey a revamped version will make an appearance. Speaking thereof, I visited my local comic supplier, and Vol.4 of the jericho comic book has not been released yet. Anybody got any new information?

I forgot "Leverage" thats one of the other shows that I look forward to.
It's too bad that the networks can't see that they dropped the ball on such great programing.
With the exception of History Detectives, on PBS,there is nothing else worth watching these days.

Tues. night on channel 5 I watch both NCIS then after 9 nothing, you will have to good to other channels not locals ones. Wed. night nothing on locals channel until CSI: New York. Unless like I said others channrls. Thurs.night it a hit and miss night you have to look, I become a channel surfer. I don't like the orginal NCIS since Grissson left the show. Fri.night It a SYFY night for me until 9pm I like Miami Medical on channel 5 at 9pm. Sat. Sun. night channel surfing to find something to watch. Does anyone knows if they renew the show on DSCchannel where people try to make do with what they find after disaster happen and they where living in a warehouse fixing up a truck I thank at the end of the season they were going to pack up and move out. Is there anyone was watching that show know if they renew it or not? Do you find this valuable?

for Annielady:the Discovery program you mentioned is "The Colony" and the producers(metalflowers.com) are actually casting for season 2.
Now the hard part: I actually submitted my info to the producers in the casting call. Still havn't heard anything yet,but you never know.
For ratkeeper: Wow, thats one hell of a delay. Was any reason given, or are the publishers just stretching things out?
