1. RE: You can't see Denver from Kansas

"I don't think you'd even be able to see a mushroom cloud let alone the Mountains from Kansas. Where did the writers learn their geography?"If the mushroom cloud was high enough, you absolutely could see a blast over Denver. Kansas borders Colorado, and the show does not exactly state WHERE in Kansas the fictional town of Jericho is located. Do you find this valuable? |

Been there. From the top of the Rockies you can see into the very western edge of Kansas, therefore I believe you could see a mushroom over Denver while standing in Kansas. It is not like there are any trees to block the view....

It would depend on the size of the warhead that was delivered and the exact location of Jericho is true. Unless someone here has ever witnessed some of the early expeiriments that were conducted before & during World War II, then you can't imagine the size or height of the mushroom cloud. Hopefully you will never live to see one in person, given the state of affairs with North Korea to consider.

Am I the only one who noticed the mountains in FRONT of the mushroom cloud? There are NO mountains between Denver and Kansas!
