Jericho: Season 3 (spin off)

A possible continuation of the TV series Jericho. Comments and critiques are welcome, and definitely add any plot or dialog if you wish to. :-)

The first episode begins with short flash backs from season 2. (the unaired ending to season 2).1. Jake and Chavez hitching a ride with a Texan military convoy to the border, en-route to the high security prison where Hawkins is being held. 2. Beck explaining to Stanley and friends at Stanley's sister's grave that he has decided to go against military orders, and is expecting to be court marshaled. 3. Grey Anderson discussing the recent meeting of representatives, and how the new "allied states of america" will be taking away the right to bear arms. #. Robert Hawkins being held at the high security prison in restraints, saying he will "never ever help the 'Cheyenne government' in anyway, shape or form!" Back in Jericho: Major Anderson and Major Beck discuss the impending threat of Cheyenne military reacting to Beck's recent insubordination. Grey Anderson realizes that this may be the towns only chance to secede from the new Cheyenne government. They agree to work together. Grey offers some of the towns food supply, and the two begin looking at their political and military situation. They can not come to a decision on what to do about the Jennings and Rawl reps that are still in town. Darcy approaches Eric Green at Bailey's Tavern. She asks to speak with him, and explains that it is about Jake. Darcy tells Eric that Jake and her husband Robert ran off to Cheyenne and that she is worried. Eric decides that he wants to go after Jake and Hakwins, so Darcy gives him her husband's fake Jennings and Rawl t shirt. Eric then decides to talk to Grey before he leaves, so that he knows what to expect in Cheyenne, since Grey Anderson was just there at the meeting of representatives. 2 out of 3 found this valuable. Dale is supervising some of his employees, unloading a truck of supplies, when he sees Eric Green going into town hall. Dale goes to town hall, curious what has happened, and why all of the road blocks were removed, by Beck's men. When Dale enters, he sees Beck, Grey and Eric talking. Beck says to Eric that he thinks Jennings and rawls should be asked to leave now that he wont be answering to his superiors. Eric cuts him off and tells Grey that he needs to speak with him. Dale leaves quickly.Skyler Stevens is looking at a map of her parent's salt mine, when Dale rushes in and explains to her that they have to start moving fast, because Jennings and Rawl may be leaving, and now may be their chance to finally expand outside of Jericho. In Texas, the last remaining bomb is in a laboratory and a scientist is explaining to the Texan president that the bomb is definitely incriminating. Jake and Chavez are having a tough time getting back into Cheyenne territory, because the Texan military is being held at the border by the president, who has not given them the go ahead. Much to their dismay, Jake and Chavez are forced to wait at a nearby pub until the Texan military resumes their offensive push towards cheyenne Cheyenne. at the bar they discuss how the Hudson river virus has spread to Canada and parts of Europe. Back at the High security prison guards are administering drugs to Hawkins, as Valente explains that he wants to brainwash Hawkins so that Hawkins will do what he say, but still retain his valuable skill set specifically, concerning satellite technology. Eric is now talking to Grey, explaining that he must go to Cheyenne undercover, and is considering going as a J & R representative, for his cover. Grey explains that because of the still significant 'road gangs' this would indeed be Erics best bet. Eric leaves, and Grey (to be continued) Do you find this valuable? |

Hey that sure is good thoughts on doing new 3th season of Jericho. I sure did enjoy it. Keep it up and maybe ever body will catch and have some good thought too.

Two guys in the background are attaching a car battery to an oscillating fan.Mayor Grey Anderson turns around and begins walking back to Major Beck who is telling some of his men that he wants a "full inventory, with detailed lists of medical supplies, munitions and fuel."... "I need to know exactly where we stand at this point and I need it yesterday." ...Beck turns around and Grey stands there, looking like a thought just popped into his head. "how are things in new burn?" he asks Beck, who hasn't given it much attention for at least a few days.. since he went against orders and resigned from the Cheyenne military. Grey says that, "as much as i hate to say it, we may want to consider, at the very least a treaty or some non aggression pact with new burn." "they may be the closest thing we have to allies at this point" Beck sighs and looks away, thinking about the mess he has gotten himself into. In the background Heather is teaching her students how to make ice under a tree, using plastic and metal bowls with fertilizer. In the foreground Dale is agreeing on a way to pay people for mining in the salt mine. There is not much to offer, and he ends up promising water as payment. Although he has no idea where he is going to get water in the summer. Cut to a medical IV dripping, attached to Hawkins at Lumar Ridge Max Security prison, he is sweating and beginning to shake as if having a nightmare, Valente is talking to him like they are buddies, saying "your going to get through this robert" "i know you can do it" and then Hawkins goes limp, and he in a dream like flashback from when he was in middle school with darcy. who is asking if him "dont you think its neat how the colonies made the declaration of independance? and broke away from Britain, 'like me or you growing up and telling our parents we are going to move out <laughs>" .. the flashback fades Do you find this valuable? |

The governor of Texas is getting reports from his/her military advisor. saying that Cheyenne military is falling back, and tightening their gaps. The president gives the order to begin sending in troops to set up a base of operations nearby Pueblo, CO and Dodge City, KS if possible.This finally gives Jake and Chavez the chance to head north, but not before they get more news about the eastern states. Apparently, New York is furious about the fact that the Cheyenne government was responsible for the attacks, and although their military is still spread thin dealing with the Hudson river virus, they have begun a project to weaponize the virus and use it to threaten the Cheyenne government. Jake and Chavez get on the convoy heading towards Dodge City. (more to come soon.) Do you find this valuable? |

thanks! I did not see the comic until i started writing this, I am looking forward to reading it, although I did notice that the comic spins off from the "aired" ending. on the dvds it shows the unaired ending where, hawkins never makes it out of the airport and jake leaves him and flys the bomb to texas :)

I like the one they didn't air better. There I like they would used and start from there if a movie or someone pick up the TV series and go from there. Fractal618 you keep it up ok I am enjoying what you are writing too.In away you are lot better in what the comics are doing. No Im not putting down the comics they just don't say enough in each book that came out,not what you have to pay for them. I'm not getting my money worth to long in beteew each comic book.

Here we go XD i finished Season 3 episode 2 (spin off) It is saved as an image file... its just easier for me to write in this program because i can see if i am missing anything... (1) flashbacksJake and Chavez finaly leaving bar/saloon and heading north Eric telling Darcy, that he will go find robert and jake Beck expressing concern about the anticipated attack from Cheyenne Grey Anderson hinting at the fact that New Bern may be their only nearby ally Dale and Skyler rounding up a workforce in the middle of town to start mining the salt mine Hawkins struggling to break the restraints while a Lumar ridge 'doctor' administers more drugs to help them break Hawkins 2. Cheyenne Cheyenne is seriously stepping up their military in anticipation of war with Texas They are pulling back forces, tightening gaps, and have begun the first draft of their new nation. 3. New Burn New Bern is celebrating since the becks troops have been pulled back. Although a select few including Constantino, and that guy that is friends with Heather are deliberating on their strategy for the summer. Emilys Dad is seen in the background, in new bern. He looks slightly ragged and beat up, but he talking to a trader trying to sell some food from his truck. 4 Global Episode 2 starts with a global news broadcast from the UN "for the time being our main concern is still containing the spread of the Hudson River virus" The virus has been spreading despite our attempts at vaccination. So far it is believed that at least 20% of the population has a natural immunity. With reported cases in Canada, Europe and Mexico, the foremost priority is containing and treating those affected. Invaluable evidence has been recovered by the Texan government from the United States Attacks. One of the bombs failed to detonate, and it has been recovered. The Uranium has been analyzed and it is clear that the bombs were manufactured in the US. Do you find this valuable? |

5 OklahomaJake and Chavez ride the convoy to dodge city, but when trying to commondeer a car outside of town they get into a fight. they are outnumbered, although they manage to win the fight, Chavez gets his leg smashed by some sort of makeshift club. they head north for a bit longer, but the car soon runs out of gas, with a broken leg, they cant hike the rest of the way. They see a fire in the distance at night, and they agree that jake should go and leave chavez there. Jake goes to try and get either some help, or some gas for the car When Jake gets to the camp, he finds that it is a group of "friendly" traders, among them is Roger, Emilys boyfriend. 6 Lumar Ridge Hawkins is not breaking, although he looks terrible. Valente is talking with his group about problems with their satellite imaging. 7 Jericho Dale and skyler win a small argument over who "owns" the salt mine. Although they still have not found a good way to sell the salt, with zero connections outside of Jericho, skyler approaches Emily, and asks about Emilys dad. Heather has begun teaching her students about building fires to cook food using a battery and a lightbulb filament, and asigns an at home reading assignment about the revolutionary war. Heather catches up with emily to go help find her dad. They leave in the morning Grey has a town meeting about the current situation with Cheyenne and how new bern may be a good friend to have at least for the time being. 8 Eastern States In new york city there is a small group meeting in a dimly lit abandond building. there are about 5 or 6 silouettes, most are smoking cigarettes and are holding weapons. The camera pulls back and reviels the bomb that was supposed to go off in NYC Do you find this valuable? |

Haha! Thanks, but no Mountainman I'm just a fan of the show :) ever since reading "A girl who owned a city" in middle school I have enjoyed these dystopia themes. "Alas, Babylon" another one of my favorites is another book that I found in college and really enjoyed. I also like "Jeremiah" another TV series. the first 7 or 8 episodes of "Lost" season 1. And for movies, I like "the postman" " "the book of eli" and I have seen every Stargate episode and movie.. SG1, atlantis, universe, you name it :) I will write some more, I want to re-watch the last few episodes of season 1 because i think there is a lot of good material in there. And now that i am hinting at a "Jericho/New Bern Alliance", I want to get all the details of their conflict down pat. Hey Fractal, I see you just joined the family. I don't know if you have had the chance to read some of the posts going back to the begining, but "Alas,Babylon" was one of the most talked about subjects relating to the Jericho Story line. We even asked the staff writers if the book was used for subject matter(you'll have to find the answer yourself)If you havn't done so already, the comic books continue the story, so look for those at your local comic specality store. And keep the comments and writtings coming. We have to keep the websites going to show the producers there are still some active Jericho Fans out there. Do you find this valuable? |

Hey there Fracta618! I know there had to be some one out here that like Jeremiah, all the Stargates, Lost (in which I didn't like the ending),The Postman and I haven't got to see The Book of Eli yet. I have it save on Netflix.I am waiting to see if Jericho/ New Bern do go for a Alliance and make a go with it. I do like to read more on Jonas Powse Emily's Dad.
