I am not sure how to continue this because I keep getting stuck on the fact that in season 1 they say that New York captured one of the bombs, and in season 2 they say that the bomb is the last remaining bomb... "The smoking gun behind the greatest crime ever commited" Do you find this valuable?

"I am not sure how to continue this because I keep getting stuck on the fact that in season 1 they say that New York captured one of the bombs, and in season 2 they say that the bomb is the last remaining bomb... "The smoking gun behind the greatest crime ever commited""
I guess we could just pretend that the New York bomb wasnt captured.... but that the terrorists decided not to go through with the attack... This would mean that:

A) New York City still survived the attack
but
B) The bomb was never turned into authorities
and
C) In Why We Fight [1.22] when Robert and Darcy are at the cabin. Instead of realizing that they have "the smoking gun behind the greatest crime ever commited" (in this spin off) they realize that they have "one of the 2 smoking guns behind the greatest crime ever commited" the other being the bomb meant for NYC
and
C) In s1 ep 7 when Grey Anderson gets back from his scouting mission, and his run-in with FEMA instead of saying that "New York made it, they caught the guys in a white van" (in this spin off) he says that "New York made it, they think the terrorists are still out there"

------or-----------

we could continue on with the show, with a fancy flashback that ties everything together:
Valente and that guy who masterminded the attack sent out a team of agents to retrieve the NYC bomb and bring it back to Lumar Ridge... This would mean that NYC never had a chance to test the uranium and see where it came from.
It is still odd that Robert Hawkins thinks that he has the only bomb, after Grey Anderson says that they caught the bombers.

****if we go with this version then the scene with the shady characters in NYC in this spin off never happened

----------after we decide which of these to gowith we can get back to the story------
I have some ideas for either way we choose to go with this...

speaking of Grey Anderson, anyone mention his (the actor that played him) appearance in the new movie Inception. he plays the customs officer at the end of the movie.

anyway, i had plenty of time last night (I seem to have built up my tollerance for the melatonin in my sleeping pills) to think about our ricocheting Season 3 spinoff. so here it is: lets see if it gets more interesting as I continue adding cards to this deck of scenes. My hope is that: it does!

After much debate I think we should go with the first option and just "pretend" that Grey Anderson said "New York made it" and nothing else. This means that Skyler's parents are still assumed to be alive, and that Robert Hawkins is assuming that the terrorists ran off with the bomb and sold it on the black market.
After Jake heads towards the fires, checking to see if they are friendly or not, so that they can help Chavez. Chavez grabs a bag stuffs it full of water, ammo, food and whatever other supplies he sees in the car, leaving enough for jake. Chavez heads north towards Lamar Ridge limping slightly, its obvious that he was over reacting and that his leg is not that bad.
as Jake gets closer to the light he catches a glimpse of something reflecting the moonlight, this turns out to be a lookout who has fallen asleep at his post. Jake who is not much further away from what appears to be a trailer park inside a small ravine. Jake gets close enough to see some people talking and laughing over a fire, but just as he is turning back to get Chavez, he gets knocked over the head with a bat. A couple hours later he wakes up, hes not chained or bound, but there are a few armed men standing around him. It turns out that it was a frightened mother who knocked him in the head with her sons baseball bat. So they’re sorry, but they still want to know what the heck he is doing there, and Jakes handgun is on the table as well.

In the morning the sun rises over Jericho’s new army training and shooting range, in it are a handful of civilians being trained by Beck’s soldiers, nothing serious or strenuous at this point just basic tactical Q and A between the soldiers and some of Jericho’s rangers. This is really just background chatter, as the scene changes to coffee being poured into a mug, by Major Beck who is inside the mayors office with Grey Anderson who is explaining that Eric just left, said he was going to get his brother. Beck is slightly troubled by this, since he knew that having Eric with them when they went to New Bern would be very helpful. Dale is there as well, he volunteers, and although Grey is reluctant to bring him along. Beck seems to have no problem with it after being reminded that Dale does have a lot of connections in the area from his trading business. They decide to go as a group. Do you find this valuable?

If I may interject, Fractal618, instead of going down a path that would more or less try to change “Jericho History” why not just bring in a new story line. The Columbus Government having the New York bomb and trying to put the word out to the world what really happened ends up being “The Boy Who Cried Wolf.” Cheyenne is too vocal already, they have most of the country’s attention and the all the world’s attention. They have nuked two countries that they have painted to the world have done this deed to us and to cover up J & R’s responsibilities. Columbus is telling the truth but no one in the world will listen and since New York survived the United Nations has survived. The more Columbus tries to clear the air the more cloudy it gets but the second bomb is the corroborating evidence that not only tells the world but shows the world and the rest of the country the truth and facts of the greatest crime in all humanity. Okay. Yes, I can buy that. Sometimes its hard for me to play out all the big scale parts to the plot. Also, I believe if the show went on for anothr season they would have used a story line close if not identical to what you propose. "The boy who cried wolf" probably would fit here. Eventhough the other countries are sending aid. they mostlikely have no desire to further punish any part of the former US....I am very glad that you spoke up here, thanks. BTW,.Sarge, are you sure you're not one of the Jericho writers? Do you find this valuable?

I have been looking forward on each one he has wrote so for and I hope he will keep it up. 0  out of 1 found this valuable. Do you?

Hello! "Powers That Be" out there! Does all this not scream/prove to you, that even after 3 years, there is STILL major interest and enthusiasm out here for this show?!! Is there no way to get this back on TV (or in webisodes, or in a movie)????

Marathon re-run of part of Jericho's 1st season was recently on SyFy, and continuing now with weekly episodes. Did SyFy buy the show? Is there anything to know here?

YES!!!! There is a tremendous amount of interest AND enthusiasm for this show! Well put RRS3.

I would really like to see another show like Jericho, but maybe another town. Somthing fresh. Lets face reality, Jericho is over. However, the genre is not. Post apocolyptic survival is Awesome. It's like sci-fi, the action and adventure is so cool, we don't mind the extra drama and love stories which are attractive to a more balanced audience.

I know it's an impossible whine, but, I don't want another show! For me, Jericho was unique. Other post-apocolyptic shows haven't even compared, ie; that ridiculous (can't even remember the name) show starring Matthew Perry. Jericho had that perfect combination of everything right - including a defining role by Skeet Ulrich - that sucked you in and made you feel like you were actually there, a part of the town, invested in everything that happened to every character!
Sorry for another rant.......
Please continue with your intriguing stories! :)

So has anyone else tried watching "The Colony?" I have and "It ain't Jericho." Maybe that's my problem here. I saw the trailers of the upcoming show and thought or hoped it would have at least a taste of Jericho but I might as well be watching Survivor or Man vs. Wild. It just doesn't grab me. And, I did not mean to step on anyone's toes that enjoy any of these programs. That is why there is a choice on TV. Hey, I watch Ice Road Truckers and Deadliest Catch too and I'm sure there are plenty of people out there scratching their heads over those choices. I just like them. Do you find this valuable?

Plus it on the same time that NCIS: LOS ANGELS IS ON AND EVERYONE OUT BIB ME ON IT. I like both ncis better than the coloney any way. Didn't it come on last season on wednesday night any way? I figure you must have found Jericho on maybe Netflix or rented the DVDs somewhere? 2008 was it. To get the second season CBS received 80 tons of peanuts in protest for the cancelation after the first season. Jericho is continuing in graphic novels. There are 6 issues for season 3 and season 4 is starting in August. Most of us are on the thread “Roll Call” if you want to join in or catch up. Conspiracy Theory is another thread that will clue you in. Welcome.
