Removing topsoil

Remember all that corn they were about to harvest that was infested and they needed Gracie's pesticides? Wasn't that grown without ever removing the top 12 inches of topsoil. 2  out of 3 found this valuable. Do you?

The question is was it planted and grown before the bombs fell? Anything planted after I would think would have to have 12 in of topsoil removed, but we must consider how many bombs were dropped and the amount of radiation or fallout came down. It may not be necessary to remove the topsoil "if" there is not enough fallout to do harm. Hard to tell what would have to be done for the next planting and harvesting. Guess we will find out. 1  out of 1 found this valuable. Do you?

Thanks! I'm just hoping the show disseminates real information in case this ever does really happen, like warning people to place themselves where they can't turn involuntarily and look at a fireball. Even if you cover your head, the flash willl MAKE you turn, causing temporary blindness at the very least but, more likely ,permanent blindness. Do you find this valuable?
