. . . With some good 90’s rock playing loudly, a convoy of Texan military heads towards the Cheyenne/Texas border. It’s hot, dry and dusty as the humvees cruise up the interstate highway. There are more than a few car wreaks along the road that the convoy has to snake through. However, the soldiers pay little attention to this debris, and rarely even bat an eye. For the soldiers this has been their reality for over a year now, since the bombs went off and destroyed 23 US cities. Standing on the back of one of the truck beds are Jake and Chavez, facing forward, side by side, they are riding towards the frontlines of America’s next civil war.. . . Jericho Season 3 Episode 1 Morse code reads: S-O-S (beep beep beep, beeeep beeeep beeeep, beep beep beep) . . . The first flashback we see is at the Cheyenne airport. Jake is holding the airplane door open for Robert Hawkins who was running away from the Control Tower he just sabotaged. Hawkins, who is still injured from a gunshot wound, stops running and drops to his knees with his hands behind his head. Jake can’t believe his eyes, but knows what must be done, and takes off in the airplane with the bomb, and without Hawkins. (this is the unaired ending which can be found on the Season 2 DVD special features) Do you find this valuable? |
